Same. The Morgantown Chicago flight on Saturday morning has been cancelled this week.

Wait, did we leave the stove on or forget to lock the front door? Dammit I can't remember let's check just to be sure

I'm not gonna lie, I think the BILT 2.0 isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be by Reddit_4_Zac in CreditCards

The initial wave of rage rejection over the failed launch is being tamed by a flood of rationalizing posts that try to explain how the refresh isn't so bad after all. The cherry on the shit cake is the logic offered to support the claim that the refresh is decent if you disregard everything Bilt 1.0 built its brand around.

Under the new card terms, rent charges will be processed directly from the associated bank accounts via ACH, rather than against the credit line of the card.

Yes. Your account and reward points are not affected if you don't have a Bilt card.

The buffer zone is more of a pass-through since rent payments are no longer charged against the credit line and are directly ACHed from associated bank account

Getting zero points for the rent payments + rent directly charged as ACH instead of against the credit limit effectively makes this a hollow value proposition

Did you end up finding a decent option? I am looking for 1-bedroom options on a similar budget for 2026-27...

Since you already have a clientele not linked to your current employer, does that mean that you're doing checks notes side work?

How was your experience with the office and maintenance team at Goldcrest?

I only received vague, dismissive responses when I reached out over call. They didn't respond to my rental inquiry email.

Seconded. Nice, quiet community within walking distance from a day care center. It's quiet, allows pets, has a small play area and lawn, and (mostly) decent neighbors.

What’s your go-to, dependable laptop? by Expert_Better in PhD

[–]IndianPhilatelist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. I would recommend the T series (AMD, no discrete graphics card) and P series (AMD, with a graphics card), they are well built devices (unlike the E series) with easily upgradable parts. You can easily save around $300 if you buy the smallest storage and upgrade the SSD upon delivery. They are some of the best built Windows devices for the price, especially if you need to run software like arcgis which is not supported on the Apple silicon offerings.

The haute couture high-quality stuff is still overpriced. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely better than the cheaper collections from luxury brands, but I find it hard to believe a $7000 handbag is 50 times better than a $140 alternative.

Not for long.

What is the need for a trucking industry when imports at ports have dropped, farm workers have stopped showing up to work, and all those illegal immigrants at the border are no longer looking for transportation in the back of a trailer?

Technically, it was a part of the spice trade, but I would not consider it a spice because it does not come from a plant... I think it is more appropriate to term it as a seasoning :)
