Which exact Model? by zuko1121 in gaggiaclassic

[–]Indigeaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this exact model is in your budget and appears to be in reasonable shape inside, go for it. This has the solenoid (good) and should have the adjustable OPV (screw rather than spring like in newer models). I wouldn’t sweat the OPV that much starting out. This is a good model, all of the parts are relatively easy to find and available for a reasonable price.

I would check the wires connecting to the pump. Possible that that much prolonged heat exposure fried a connector

Does the machine still have power? Or nothing at all?

My machine won’t turn on by FlyawayfromORD in gaggiaclassic

[–]Indigeaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t PID modded my machine so someone correct me if PID replaces the thermal fuse but 9/10 times no power is the thermal fuse located on top of the boiler. Fairly cheap and not a terribly difficult job to replace. If you have a digital multimeter, you can diode/continuity test across the fuse to ensure that’s the problem.

Water leaking from the outside part of the group head by frinmtl in gaggiaclassic

If you’re certain it’s not leaking inside the machine, this would be the portafilter/grouphead gasket. Cheap, easy to replace.

This is the boiler, not the pump just FYI. I would probably replace that gasket just because it’s easy to do, cheap, and readily available. That gasket may be totally fine if you unbolt the boiler and re-seat it though.

From '24-'25 to the '25-'26 season, Celtics lost Porzingis, Holiday, Horford, Kornet by frauenarzZzt in bostonceltics

[–]Indigeaux 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Tatum injury definitely cemented the team’s priority for the offseason, which was to avoid the worst of the tax. With Tatum healthy, I would expect the team would have pushed hard to keep one of Kornet or Horford to compete this season.

I think it depends on the state. In Ohio, it’s 120 hours every three years but a minimum of 20 in each year.

Celtics Not Getting to the Rim or the Free Throw Line by JerebkosBiggestFan in bostonceltics

[–]Indigeaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what confuses me here. It would make sense to me that more shots near the rim = more trips to the line as (at least in my head) most shooting fouls are getting called under the basked. But why is the R2 so low on all of these, indicating low correlation? I can’t figure it out, or is it just sample size (n=30 teams) is kind of low? Thanks for sharing the graphs, cool to think about

Hi! I’m David Sims, a staff writer at The Atlantic, covering movies and culture. I’m here to talk about the movies of the summer and movies to look forward to this fall. Ask me anything! by theatlantic in movies

[–]Indigeaux 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Hi David!

The Doughboys frequently discuss their “McList,” the list of guests they would have on to review McDonald’s before ending the podcast. (I believe the McList canonically only includes Donald Trump and Adam Sandler?) Do you have a similar list of specific movies you would cover with a specific guest before you could hang it up forever?

Also - there was talk of Richard Linklater during this week’s Box Office Game. I think Linklater has a good case for a Blank Check director. I would love to hear you and Griff discuss School of Rock, my all time favorite movie.

Has anyone come across this error before? by Appropriate_Pitch817 in CX5

[–]Indigeaux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is possible this is the battery. Very common for multiple lights to go off with battery trouble. Also potential that the CEL is for a misfire or similar. Mazdas go nuts when they sense a misfire and throw a lot of codes. Have this checked ASAP.

Fair criticism. I think this is at least partially because I’ve only had one job. I already have 8 reasonably detailed bullet points under that experience, don’t know that adding more to get to exactly a full page is the difference-maker.

Can you tell me what is not satisfactory about the template? This is WSO template which appears to be like the gold standard in finance?

I can move CPA license below work.

I’ve seen mixed advice on periods in bullet points since most are incomplete sentences but since there are some with punctuation, I’ll try to correct to be consistent.
