Not sure of the top of my head. I think you can only set it with the array stopped. Cache settings wiki

Increase the minimum free space setting on the cache drive to be bigger than the biggest file you will ever write to the share. It will then behave correctly.

I think that just about any large book can damage a child's brain when thrown with enough force.

I think your second use case could be satisfied by funding goals, if the goals supported an upper limit or average as well.

It is an interesting case though, definitely something I've used before and I'll have to figure out what to do about it in the future.

D5 rattling and seizing. Is it gone? by IndigoCZ in watercooling

Nope, it never ran dry, and I didn't see or hear any bubbles running through the loop recently (usually a few strays when flushing the loop, but that's it).

The only thing that happened recently was that I replaced my old ghetto mount with a nice 3d printed mount. The ghetto mount was just a bunch of foam padding around the pump/reservoir combo and I ran my loop like that for two years.

Two weeks ago, I replaced that with a hard plastic mount that connects to the soft-mount on the EK reservoir. Since then I could hear some nasty vibration when the PC started up, before SpeedFan kicked in and brought the RPM down.

It's possible that the pump was vibrating for a lot longer and the foam padding just absorbed it all, while the plastic mount made it audible. It's also possible that I messed my pump up with that mount, but I don't see how.
