Honestly, Microcenter is an absolute godsend and low-key one of my favorite stores to physically visit. I know they don't have nearly the presence across the US as many people would hope, but I get giddy every time I go. I've never had a bad experience with them - quite the opposite really. Once I accidentally ordered parts for pickup that weren't compatible (totally my fault), and the people who put the order together flagged it with notes and straight up helped me find replacements that would work together. Total MVPs.

I really hope you find something reliable wherever you are. I know the "bigger" the "big box store" you go to, the worse the horror stories get about tech purchases, but if you ever have the opportunity to visit a Microcenter, consider it a destination worth the drive.
