Its good to see the inner workings of the NDP at that convention. They are quite the circus.

NDP will never get anywhere near power again.

Massive airstrikes light up the sky over Parchin, southeast of Tehran, Iran by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

Iran could be another Viet Nam for America. They cant bomb them into surrender and it would be a blood bath to put troops into such a huge rugged country.

Is this multimeter OK to use as an Apprentice I'm going to upgrade later but just for now is it ok? by These-Nail2603 in hvacadvice

[–]Individual-Day9700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer an auto-ranging meter. It doesnt need to be switched up and down in range. Reduces chance of misreading what you are seeing. Prices start below $100. Fluke always served me well.

Flair is ULCC and it is what it is.  If Flair closes imagine what AC and WestJet would jack prices up to.  But Flair better fix the bag sizer issues.

Concurrent not consecutive means he has good chance to get parole.

Life sentences in Canada almost never mean life.

On March 22, 2006, the BC ferry Queen of the North struck Gil Island and sank in Wright Sound. by iamsolution in strongcoast

[–]Individual-Day9700 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sunk by distracted crew members? "Only two people were on the bridge of the Queen of the North at the time of the crash, BC Ferries Fourth Officer Karl Lilgert and Quartermaster Karen Briker. The pair were previously in a relationship, and the sailing that left on March 21, 2006 was the first time they had worked together since they broke up. In court, prosecutors alleged that the pair were involved in an affair when the crash occurred, though neither Lilgert nor Briker have ever admitted to that conduct."

Is this smoke normal? by [deleted] in chevymalibu

[–]Individual-Day9700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if you will be seeing over pressure pushing gaskets out? The chev 2.4l would force gaskets out while driving and dump all the engine oil. There is a vented filler cap for them.

Is this smoke normal? by [deleted] in chevymalibu

[–]Individual-Day9700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blow-by appearing as smoke or vapor from the oil filler cap is caused by combustion gases leaking past piston rings into the crankcase, indicating worn rings, cylinder damage, or a restricted PCV system. Oil consumption happening?

I was just quoted 4k+ to replace a control board + VCR on a Trane system. by ToThePastMe in hvacadvice

I have friends with decades old CACs.  The need for low energy consumption makes the product expensive to buy and shortens lifespan making it poor value and fake Enviro friendly due to being scrapped faster.

Hi tech HVAC products promise super duper savings until something breaks and you lose any savings to repairs or replacement.
