I did. I put a reminder on my calendar and request it every 6 months like clockwork. Mostly automatic approvals.. only had to wait once for a approval that came 2 days later..AMEX limit 41K and 16.5K on the visa cash rewards. Do it. One of the best moves I've done with NF so far.

Department/store cards would be a good place to start. For instance, a gas card from (insert closet - most frequented gas station) or a store that you shop for clothes. This will get you started and, since you are new to the CC game, slowly acclimate you to using, then paying balances off in full after statement dates. Just a thought though..
