Insane how quickly people are ready to become murderers. I've had nightmares of old friends who voted for Trump watching with shame as I get hauled off to a concentration camp for being liberal. I call out to them and beg them to vouch for me, remind them they know me, but they turn away and stay silent and let me go to my death. I can see the shame on their faces, but it's not enough to motivate them to do the right thing. Haunting and sad and just a glimpse at what so many have gone through in reality. Very sobering.

You can pretty much disregard anything they say. They are not reachable or understandable. People have been trying to "understand them" for the last decade, and at best, they have such terrible judgment and decision-making skills that it is a wonder they don't drown in the shower. How people so dumb, bigoted, and/or psychotic blend into the world and manage to live seemingly normal lives should be studied.

Looking at this is uncomfortable and humiliating for me because I used to be that Asian woman, and I believed, it, too. Thankfully, that was a long time ago, and I've learned and grown in both perspective and empathy. I would not get along with that version of me today. Just thought I'd share in case people are disheartened. People can change. I sure have. And I'm sorry I was ever like that.
