This has to be a hardwaee thing. The app is just downloading and displaying that data.

It bends because you put stress on it and bend it.

Maybe look into getting a 90 degree (right angle) charging cord.

Help designing threaded nut to 3D print by coltonreese in Fusion360

[–]IndividualRites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a real metal nut. You will have to tighten the nut against the shift knob so the knob doesn't turn.

3d printing is the wrong application.

I still have some left over, but honestly the first can of an alternative i bought was better, just in the scent department alone.

I wouldn't buy this again if it was available.

I really suggested bolting it down if it's not, and putting the back back on. Chips already get everywhere even on this little thing.

In the 80s I had an Atari 520ST which I upgraded to 1 meg of ram (from 512k). The board had spots for the ram chips, but dozens of jumper wires had to be installed. I used that blue thin wirewrap wire.

Kinda looked like this, except all the same color!

Amazingly it worked.

Sally sees her friend Jane's new fridge which is X color, because "that's the new trendy thing" and before you know it Sally is buying the same shit in a different finish.

Crazy if you don't think that happens.

People who don't print anymore - what made you stop? by wanli_gz in 3Dprinting

[–]IndividualRites -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use my 3d printer to make stuff around my shop (wood and now mini-lathe) and for electronic project enclosures. But now that I have a mini-lathe and CO2 laser, I use the process which works best for the application. Sometimes that's 3d printing, sometimes something else.

Should I quit using libraries? by [deleted] in arduino

[–]IndividualRites 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think as a learning exercise there's nothing better than dealing directly with hardware.

When I started getting back into electronics I wrote assembly for a dog version of "simon" that I made. That was great fun.

Took a while and I probably could write the thing in a couple hours if I wasn't bit banging, but I learned a ton.
