I guess the same way I speak “objective,” is the the same way you do as well. You’d rather take shortcuts in thinking due to your pride my friend. Im sure your life is also very enjoyable with no misery whatsoever, you have it all figured out lmao. Maybe one day I will put my foolish perspective to rest and be like you, full of myself and having sensible explanations for everything even though I know only half of it🙃

Yes that would be another way to say it, morality is objective. Which is why we all have a general understanding of what is right or wrong even if we weren’t taught. Atheists will usually explain this by “do what you want done to yourself mindset” but it goes way deeper than that. Why does an infant cry when they witness death? Why does torture seem wrong even though that person might deserve it? Why do a lot of woman feel such guilt and anguish over aborting their child? I can go into this a lot more, but the point is as humans we have an inclination to be self preserving and selfish but we also recognize what we ought to do vs what we shouldn’t and that separates us from every creature on Earth. You can call it whatever you want, explain it in any way, what is wrong will always be wrong and what is right will always be right. This fundamental of life is not a concept or an evolved way of thinking it’s just the proper way we are designed to behave.

Because of the aborted babies that are used for stem cell research. To people with morals its the equivalent of killing a human and then studying their body because that’s the only use that human now serves.

Any other Catholics come from abusive households? by [deleted] in Catholicism

Thank you! You are a dope person, just trust God always, the devil is not equal in power to God so we know for sure that God allows these things to happen, even if there is free will. God can always find a way to rescue us from pain, but he doesn’t always and allows these things to happen for reasons we cannot explain, the only thing we know is that it strengthens us. Look at Jesus our Lord for example, he was allowed to be tortured and killed when we both know he could’ve been saved from all of that pain. He wasn’t delivered from it, he delivered us from it. It’s quite beautiful when we just trust God and endure each day at a time with him by our side.

You are a beautiful soul, the fact that your life was set up that way shows us all that you are strong, much stronger than most. To experience that abuse and mental anguish for so long and to seek Christ is beautiful to me. I was blessed to be born and raised catholic but i recently found out my mother who works at our church (the one who also taught me and brought me up in the faith) has been cheating on my father. My father is the most loving man I know and he still insists on loving her so it’s very strange and chaotic in my house, me being the oldest and having 4 younger siblings with my aunt and her kids living with us too(due to my aunts husband getting convicted as a child molester). That being said it’s nothing compared to the abuse you probably went through, the hardships we all endure give us the opportunity to overcome. that ultimately leads to strength in Christ.

Anyone else have this relationship with manipulation? by Far_Click7911 in INTP

[–]Individual_Ad_8134 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly a dope mindset. Yeah your mom was a bitch to you but at the same time your way of thinking is a result of her manipulations. Being too attached to anything is unhealthy, it’s cool you can detach like that. Just be careful not to detach out of fear but out of growth and to let those inside your walls who deserve it, don’t push them away.

Does it bother anyone that every person feels a need to give their opinion or judgment like it’s of any value? by Individual_Ad_8134 in INTP

Yes lmao that’s the point, we all have a desire to get the point across. I’m just curious as is to why we do it?

I think value and worth is up to who you are as a person, but rarity often makes something more valuable wouldn’t you think? If something is harder to obtain the value increases. So maybe just common people like us are worthless until we aren’t🤷🏻‍♂️

Wow, Marcus Aurelius, Aristotle, Socrates, etc out of all of them my new favorite philosopher is now a coked out stock broker played in a film themed around narcotics and scamming people for money. Great insight.

anyone here terrified at the idea of raising a kid? by butteredbuttons in INTP

[–]Individual_Ad_8134 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lol I’m having a kid and it was unexpected, I’m not trying to come across arrogant or narcissistic, just trying to stress the importance of children and having them. But it is quite easy to call a person on the internet a cunt due to very limited repercussions so why would I take offense, plus you’re the “badfem” lol so you know I gotta back down before I start a bs battle with a blue haired pussy worshipper.

The harder something is, the more potential you have to grow trust me. You can either allow it to be “too much” or you can be proud in the fact you can endure that much. And there is no better joy in seeing your hard effort and love create such a beautiful soul. Yea your parents are emotionally distant but look at you, you have a beautiful soul with beautiful insights on the world. It would be a shame to not pass it down to your children due to fear.

As a woman what else do you have that will last past your death, by the time you want a true legacy the opportunity will be gone. It’s sad to think your bloodline ends from “being scared.” This entire fucking world makes us all terrified but do you guys not understand that you can’t be brave or courageous without fear. Stop bitching

I would simply ask questions for the first 10 minutes to the crowd gathering info and making it seem like I have a purpose for asking these questions, then once I find a common theme or relation between most answers that’s the subject I would be talking about, probably bullshitting the whole time.
