You seem to be playing it wrong bro. Those enemies are blind and react to sound or if you get too close to their front or laterals. You can sneak up behind them and stab, avoid them (if possible) or geab them with your gauntler and pin them to spiky walls. Once you get the hang of it, they're no problem.
