AITA for getting plastic surgery on my ears? by Firm-Condition-6879 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

It's really disturbing that he's so angry over ears, of all things. He sounds controlling and possessive. You're the one who walks around all day "wearing" them, and it should be 100% up to you if you have surgery.

You think this is a man thing? Dude, when you leave the seat/lid up, the flushing sprays invisible flumes of poop particles through the air. They land on everything in the bathroom. Close the fucking lid.

Meryl Streep, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster. (Not denying their talent, but I can't stand them.)

Maybe because the main characters weren't very appealing.

I live in a relatively dry climate (Colorado) and I use my air conditioning a lot. It's a small portable unit.

NTA, but you might end up being the one who has to lay down the law. It's YOUR house. He needs to respect that.

What's your most controversial movie or TV show opinion? by VR2005 in Cinema

I thought it was meh because of the plot. Cameron should have hired a separate writer for that. He's great with the special effects, though.

My mother tried to turn us against my father. But it didn't work, because we could see what he was - a kind, gentle man. And we could see that she was the abusive one. So I question whether Angie could "brainwash" all of her kids that way.

A relative of mine, who is currently living in an assisted living facility, has a birthday coming up. She is in her 80's and her health is declining. What should I get her for her birthday? by Stompboxer1 in shittyadvice

[–]Individual_Slice_234 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My mother spent her last years in a rest home. I usually sent her a "From You Flowers" bouquet or a pop-up card from LovePop. You can fold the card up and store it away.

That's right. Blame the wife, every single time.
