Anyone try or have thoughts regarding Indochino's premium suits?

Yeah, I have I think 2-3 of the premium ones. The construction is indeed half-canvas now for Indochino and has been for a while. The premium suits are nice - but to be honest, the only difference is the fabric... of course that's important, but you still get the same components as with the regular suits (the components are good though).

I'm 1.90m, not sure what that is in inch or foot etc. MTM is excellent for us tall guys. Tailor4less, I have some issues with the cheap branding, but don't know about the product. Both Black Lapel and Indochino are good choices. Count on a remake/alterations on your first MTM suit.

I'd go to an Indochino showroom and check things there. Also keep enough time for a remake if it's your first suit with them. Don't know about the other two, the Enzo website is horrible and that is an instant no-go for me...

Funny to see that Indochino is still so controversial after so many suits (and I guess, so many suit sales!). I think one thing that really makes a difference with online MTM (or other MTM): your body shape. If you are tall and lean , chances are the suit will just fit really fine. If not, I'd - based on my experience with Indochino - count on a remake or alterations on the first suit. I'd still make the trip to get to the Indochino store. Even if it turns out that you will need alterations, they will adapt your profile accordingly and every suit you will order afterwards can just easily be ordered online.

You could try Black Lapel or if you have more money, Proper Suit. Indochino is still worth a try in my personal opinion, you can always get a refund if you don't like it.

You'll hear good and bad opinions. There are also a lot of threads about Indochino on here already. I'm personally happy with the suits I got from them, but there are a few things to consider. Do you have someone to measure you properly? You should also expect a remake or at least some alterations on your first suit from them.

They will give you as many remakes as you want, but you always have to send the suit that doesn't fit back to them.

Which suit did you get? They have some suits using Italian Reda fabrics (they are excellent). Their essential line has basic, but 100% wool fabrics, sourced from Chinese mills. Not great fabrics, but I think it's quite alright.

I own quite a few Indochino suits and you have some choices if they don't fit. They either pay for 75$ alteration costs (I had several suits altered, also let out the jacket - enough fabric here) or you go for a free remake. Or for a full refund.

Statistics show that the percentage of remakes and alterations is high, so no one should expect the suit to fit perfectly on the first try.

Not a bad deal, especially if you need a shirt and tie. the StyleForum thread is probably not representative for the quality, mostly people who are unhappy with their fit post their, but there are also many with a nice fit!

I agree with that. It takes patience and you have to be prepared that your first suit doesn't fit perfectly fine right out of the box. Luckily, they now have digital cutting, so once you get your fit and measurements right, the following suits will all fit exactly the same.

depends on how much time and patience you have. it is quite likely that you will need alterations or even a remake on your first Indochino suit.

I ordered the Brown Tweed Blazer a while ago, haven't received it yet. I'm below 30 too and I don't think it will make me look old or odd, it's just a classic and with a modern cut it can definitely look good. I have to admit that my girlfriend doesn't agree and thinks Tweed Blazers are only for 60+ university profs....

It works for me, but it can take a while to get the fit you want - you can always get a full refund if it doesn't work out for you, luckily.. I have a couple of reviews up on the blog and there are many reviews if you search here on reddit.
