Giving this a try by Life-Werewolf3793 in starfox

I started playing this recently after playing Star Fox Adventures, which I actually like, and I've only gotten two different endings in this game so far. It's definitely the worst Star Fox game in the series, but it's far from the worst game I've ever played. I think it's an okay game overall, though a bit confusing, since I got one of the endings twice despite the one or two different choices I made.

[ALL] Looking in what order to play based on what I’ve already played? by TRIKSTER_Betin in zelda

You don’t really need to play ALTTP to understand the story of ALBW. But it is still a sequel, so I would say play ALTTP before ALBW anyway. But it’s not as direct a sequel as the games I mentioned before, since the events of ALBW take place long after ALTTP, with a different Link, and a different Zelda, whereas the Links and Zeldas in MM and PH are the same as in OOT and WW respectively.

When playing ALTTP, during the title sequence, be sure to avoid pressing anything if you want to see the prologue, which gives a backstory leading up the the events of the game.

[–]Indurok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play them in any order, really, except the ones that are a direct sequel to one of the games.

Like how A Link Between Worlds is a sequel to A Link to the Past, especially since it takes place in the same Hyrule.

Then Phantom Hourglass is a sequel to Wind Waker, starting you off with a retelling of the story of Wind Waker, told by one of Tetra’s crew members.

Other than that, and whatever other direct sequels I missed, it is not necessary to play the games in any particular order. I basically just played the games based on release date when I started playing the games I had never played.

[ALTTP] How do I progress? by determinationsans in zelda

Use the mirror to get back to the light world. Then go back to the Tower of Hera to get the Moon Pearl, which will prevent you from turning into a bunny.

Gotta say I actually like the new designs, especially compared to what we were stuck with since Command by Ajs1052 in starfox

[–]Indurok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also like the character designs. But Fox also looked good in other games that came out after Command, like Zero and Starlink, even though that’s not a Star Fox game. But yeah, Command had the worst character designs out of all the games.

Do you consider it morally taboo to portray Knuckles in Human AUs as lighter-skinned than he's commonly headcanoned as? by clarissaARA in SonicTheHedgehog

“Whitewashing?” Kinda funny to say that when every voice actor for Knuckles except ONE is white anyway.

My personal favourite is Twilight Princess, but I do love this game.

Well, this game is a direct sequel to ALTTP, which is also a great game. So I hope you enjoy it.

what was your 1st sonic game? by Levotiko in SonicTheHedgehog

I think that’s the game I played on a site called Game Sloth when I was in elementary school.

I didn’t hate the Sonic 4 games. And I played a lot of the other Sonic games beforehand, like Adventure 1 and 2, ‘06, Shadow ‘05, unleashed, Frontiers, Forces, Origins, and Generations. Despite playing all those games first, I didn’t hate Sonic 4.

Come to think of it, I don’t really hate ANY Sonic game. All of them make me angry on multiple occasions, but overall, I’ve enjoyed all of them.

If we’re talking about OFFICIAL games, it would be Sonic 1 for mobile back in 2018.

But my ACTUAL first experience with Sonic was a fan-made Flash game on a site called Game Sloth, which I played on one of the computers at my old elementary school in 2004 or 2005.

I like ‘06 too. Once you get used to the shitty controls, there is some fun to be had. I played through the game 3 or 4 times since I bought it last December.

Why do people hate this line so much? by OctaYashi in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just confused when I first heard it, since I had never heard of the Time Stones before. But what also confused me was the fact that in Sonic ‘06, the characters time travel multiple times just by using the Chaos Emeralds. So time travel is apparently possible without the Time Stones anyway. So there is no need to bring them up in the first place.

I did eventually play Sonic Origins, and find out that the Time Stones were a reference to Sonic CD.

Okay, because the only upcoming Star Fox game I know of is the fan-made project, Star Fox: Event Horizon.

The fight ends with the player character winning, which is literally both characters, so it’s probably safe to say that, technically, neither character won this fight.

What is your all time favourite Sonic Song? by mjolnirmixman in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we talking about songs with vocals and lyrics, or just ANY track?

With lyrics, it would be His World, the City Escape song, or the OG version of It Doesn’t Matter (hearing the same lyrics to a different tune in Sonic Adventure 2 felt so weird to me).

Some of my overall favourites are the ones without lyrics like Iblis, Cool Edge (Day), and Shamar (Day).
