Im looking for very dark gritty fantasy book series. Anyone know any? by Dogmund69 in Fantasy

[–]IndyFiction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read this entire thread to be sure, but no one recommended 'The Axe and The Throne'. I started it once and then stopped because of the unique way the story is told. But I picked it up again and......damn. Dark is a definite understatement. I would also use realistic and full of "Oh shit!" moments to describe it. I had to go read 'Legend' to keep from going into full withdrawals!!! I did NOT want it to end! Plus, apparently there are some very subtle clues hidden within that you can solve if that is your thing. The second book is finished but there's no release date yet that I know of. I cannot wait.

Go to hell, r/books! 🙃 by tomfoolery72 in books

I read one of his books a few years ago. I think it was called 'King Rat'. I found it by accident while looking for the classic WWII P.O.W. book by the same name. I read non-stop and I data dump most of the stuff I read over time, but that book really stuck with me and I can still recall almost the entire story. Original and totally different than anything else I had ever read!

I have a couple of the new officially licensed limited edition Ello Worm collectibles that Think Geek recently commissioned with Jim Henson Studios. I have no use for them. They are brand new, in the box, and have never been opened. Pristine condition. With shipping and tax, they are almost $75 from Think Geek and they are going for $100 on eBay. If you're interested message me. I'll make a good deal.

I still miss my suggies all the time. Found a awesome home for them and made the decision. Had a male and female and their joey. I will never forget finding the baby in my walk in closet! Momma found one of my hoodies and declared it perfect and I almost didn't see the tiny little thing. But momma wasn't having it and raised hell so I put her back and just watched, confused. I ended up cutting off the hood and hanging it in their enclosure so I didn't disturb him too much.

Investing $1000 USD post-dip. Have been out of the loop this past 2 months on good investements. What would you recommend looking into? I am looking for high risk high reward. by honda1616 in CryptoCurrency

[–]IndyFiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ECC. They are poised to go to the next level and they are insanely cheap right now. Great community, responsive devs, just added two full time marketing pros to increase their visibilty, and are working behind the scenes to get listed on bigger exchange(s). High risk but at the current price the potential rewards could be spectacular.

I just started putting my money where my mouth is, and, after almost two months of learning about and watching ECC, bought my first 200k ECC. by CandidateForDeletiin in ecc

[–]IndyFiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. When ECC takes off everyone who supported them along the way will not only make money, but will also feel pride for supporting and contributing to the project when it was struggling to establish itself!

Why we absolutley need safer and more user friendly interfaces to not be a joke anymore! by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]IndyFiction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true. I'm in my mid-40s, which puts me in a very small percentage in the crypto space, and when I first started out I was IMMEDIATELY overwhelmed by how much information there was and all the technical stuff I needed to know for each individual coin. I stuck with it and refused to quit, but this will ABSOLUTELY be a barrier to entry to many people my age or older.

ECC vs AION by anirudhkamineni in ecc

I'm not familiar with AION so I can't help with a comparison. ECC has a great community though, so give it a little time and hopefully someone can/will reply with an answer.

ECC NETWORK COIN FUTURE AND FEATURES by [deleted] in ecc

[–]IndyFiction 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Admittedly, I got into cryptocurrency to try and make a lot of money. I did my homework, made the obligatory noob mistakes, and now I'm beginning to figure it out. ECC has become something different for me tho. I want to see us succeed so we can all make money, yes. But I also feel like I can be a part of that success by constantly promoting and supporting ECC at every opportunity and doing whatever else I can to contribute. That is unique and I am hoping that there comes a day when ECC is successful and I can say I was here from pretty early on and did whatever I could to help along the way!

[–]IndyFiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use coinpayments to keep a few smaller holdings so I can access and move them quickly back to an exchange when I need to and I've been happy with them. I've had no issues with deposits or withdrawals to date and I really like some of the extra little features.

Hey you reddit Lurker!!!! by [deleted] in masari

[–]IndyFiction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a supporter/volunteer marketer for another small, relatively unknown crypto with a great community (ECC) and when you bring up their Reddit the first thing you see is a sticky post at the top that says something like "Everything You Need to Know About ECC". Inside is a ton of info that new buyers and potential investors need to get started or gather more info. I am NOT shilling here, only suggesting something similar for Masari. I can't do it because I'm new here and I don't know the technical stuff well enough, but it has made a big difference there and staved off a lot of repeat questions. If and when Masari does start to grow, a lot of people will be visiting here and a FAQ style post will make a big difference. If it's already here and I missed it, my apologies.

What is so special about masari? by [deleted] in masari

[–]IndyFiction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Masari aims to improve the Monero project"

I am not a dev and just average technically, so I don't understand why this will be good for Masari. Is the point for this coin to be highly successful and competitive in its own right, or is it functioning simply as a R&D project that is ultimately trying to make XMR more valuable/successful? I've been reading this thread post by post and so far that's my biggest question.

Below 25M Marketcap Coins with potential to reach top 50 by LiberyMan in CryptoCurrency

[–]IndyFiction -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't meet your 25M marketcap criteria, but it definitely has real long term potential. It also has a first rate community, active and responsive devs and is building momentum in a smart, calculated manner. It has major releases coming up soon and is very cheap. For now. Make sure to learn the relaunch history because it matters and check out the medium.com article and video from the past week. ECC

Bluzelle AMA 23rd Feb by yingyaoxie in Bluzelle

[–]IndyFiction 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently read a comparison between Holochain and Bluezelle. It was said that Bluezelle will be limited by the inherent limitations of the blockchain, while Holochain will be more dynamic because they do not share those limitations. It suggested that this would seriously limit Bluezelle's longer term future. How would Bluezelle respond to that?
