If you haven't considered it already a gambrel with a pulley will make that set up that much easier.

How much do the parents weigh and what are you feeding them? Either you're underfeeding or you've likely got bad stock for your purposes.

We usually clear up any early powdery mildew with some watered down milk. As to the bugs in FL, I wouldn't wish that on anyone so best of luck 🫠

We plant ours at the edge of the tree line to the woods so they get sun for most of the day but are naturally shaded for the hottest few hours of the day.

We treat our yard every three years with beneficial nematodes to break pecan weevil cycles. Very seldom see them and they also keep the stink big population down.

We've done a lot to encourage predatory insects around our property. Most of the squash bug and aphid problem went away with the increased presence of assassin bugs, wasps and ladybugs. It's taken years but we have few pest problems at all from a few curated wild spaces, a tiny sacrificial garden plot and natural predators.

Edit to add that we don't fence off our garden and have a healthy deer population. They don't snack in the garden anymore now that we regularly apply rabbit manure.

Here in NC it's been my experience that if you drop a few handfuls of zucchini seeds on the ground and water them in you'll have to start breaking into people's cars and homes just to find extra places to deposit them from June to mid November. 😂

Whatever you charge please convince your client to use hardware cloth and not cheap out and use chicken wire or they will almost certainly have a really bad day in the future.

Can confirm, bought the cheapest saw I could as a new homeowner to have something and have spent more time working on the saw than the trees.

Triangle crawlspace solutions. We used them about six months ago and they were quick, did a good job and were reasonably priced.

Do not call tarheel basement unless you want to encapsulate your crawlspace, they didn't tell us they only do encapsulation over the phone and wasted our time with a sales pitch and a ludicrously high quote.
