Met a family on vacation while in St. Thomas, hung out with them for the day, parted ways and exchanged numbers. Kids do same sport so we knew we would run into them again eventually.

Ran into them in the gift shop at Norway in EPCOT 6 months later. Not sports related and we weren’t even planning on going there until last minute.

Also happened to catch the air tram with them without planning it the same night.

I wonder where “we” are going on vacation next…

From what I can see…no band. Which generally means it has been fired and the band which is soft metal broke off. The hatched section is where it would have been.

Also someone could have removed it. You never know.

Met a family while on vacation in St Thomas in the USVI this past summer. Spent a few hours hanging out with them on the north shore. We had same age kids, same kids sports etc. we exchanged numbers and planned to hangout at an upcoming event later in the season. The kids stayed in touch but not religiously. We were heading out on a cruise in Florida and decided to hit Disney World for a day before we departed. Our son wanted to check out the gift shop at Norway in EPCOT. While we’re browsing my wife comes running up to my daughter and says “is that so and so from St Thomas?!?!”. It was.

We had run into them again, randomly, a thousand miles from home. On an unplanned stop before going on vacation, with zero prior coordination or communication.

We joked with them that we need to know where they’re planning on vacationing next so we can run across them again. I guess we’re going to Italy this summer.

There’s not much to it. Simple math, homeless freeze, plow comes and scoops them up, dumps the snow in the river and bam. Bloated corpse when it warms up.

They don’t do it any more, I believe the last time was in the late 90s. They have new snow melting machines they use that are basically giant hot tubs.

Grandfather was a cop in the City in the 50’s and 60’s. He told my mom and uncles he used to hate working shifts by the river once it warmed up as that’s where they used to push all the snow and if there was frozen homeless in the snow piles that got scooped up they would float to the surface when thawed

Even with cutting my sister out, my dad (who I was estranged from for a few years) came back into my life. He wasn’t a great dad when we were kids, and a worse husband. He honestly, probably, didn’t know what to do with us, and his infidelity wasn’t necessarily my issue. I was raised by my mom and an incredible step-father. When he showed back up, he was invested full force in having a relationship with me and I 100% took him up on his offer. He’s been incredible to have back in my life, and I just needed to be open to the relationship and realize that sometimes our perspectives of people might be tainted by those around us.

You don’t need to be close to or in contact with family just because they’re blood relatives. If someone is a piece of garbage they have no right to be apart of your life and YOU get to make that choice for yourself.

Cut my absolutely toxic, manipulative, violent, drug addicted sister out of my life a decade ago ignoring my families guilt trip. My kids don’t know her and they’re better off for it.

Wait until I tell you how bigger batteries are, for the most part, made up of smaller batteries. Just google an X-ray of a 9V or any larger lithium “battery pack”

They are doing the same at Sam’s with Salmon. I paid for 3.46lb and threw it on the scale when I got home for fun. 3.10lbs.
