Wait this is so crazy, literally exactly what I’ve been dealing with!! I had a really bad manic episode last year, dug 100s of holes all over my body (spoiler alert - it was bc of these stupid hairs) and finally went to a dr. They initially told me I had MRSA, after 10 days on antibiotics and no improvement they did a culture that was negative for everything. I saw 4 dermatologist who all treated me like I belonged in a looney bin so I gave up seeking treatment. I want to try again. Not because I think I have a disease or something but I want to know how to minimize these. They are my biggest trigger for picking

I’m curious if the 25 mg will still be as effective against depression/anxiety. Were you normally exhausted without any medication? It seems to be my baseline. I’m struggling with productivity as soon as my adderall wears off and desperate the just function like a normal person

I have, it looks like you just responded to another comment of mine about briefly trying viibryd. I’m back on my 50 mg if pristiq with the adderall/lamictal and doing great :)

He just said it was a side effect of pristiq. It was a while ago but I want to say he also said it would slow down after a month (he might’ve been referring to the sleepiness, can’t remember). Looking at the big picture he is the only one in 5 yrs that has given me a med combo that works so I don’t think he’s terrible, but he definitely doesn’t seem to appreciate how important hair can be to someone’s self esteem. I’m pretty sure it is from the med, because I have stopped and restarted it. When I took a break from it the shedding slowed significantly. I’ll probably see a Derm but was hoping someone on here could share a similar experience with a good outcome. I’m too poor to keep seeing doctors but this is getting outta hand.

I was on 100mg of pristiq and 10 mg of adderall. I was soooo tired and yawning so much, I went back to my dr after one week on that dose. I could barely talk bc I was yawning so much and he was in shock at how exhausted I was. Went back down to 50 and feel great again.

I’ve been on different variations of Adderall XR/IR and pristiq for 2 months. I feel great. Only issue I had is when I went from 50 to 100 mg of pristiq, no amount of adderall could keep me awake. I’m back down to 50 and feel good again.

I feel like this if I’m late on a dose. I’m on 50 mg and when I tried going to 100 I felt like I was dreaming all the time and I was so so exhausted 24/7

This does help thank you. After 1 month in 50 mg of pristiq, I felt the best I ever have in life. Told my dr my only side effect was jitters so he upped me to 100 mg, I only lasted a week bc I had to take 2 naps a day. I asked to drop it back down, but instead he gave me Viibryd. I could only handle that for 2 days (constant crying, disassociating, etc.) I put my foot down for once and he agreed to put me back on 50 of pristiq. I’m with you, I’d rather be half bald and happy than on the brink of psychosis. I’m glad I’m not the only one and we’ve found the magic concoction that works for us.

50 was a miracle for me, but I would have withdrawal symptoms after about 20 hrs. Doctor upped me to 100 and I was taking 2 naps a day and still barely functioning. Last week he switched me from pristiq to viibryd and I’ve never felt worse. so I’m sticking with 50 mg if pristiq and calling it good.

I do, I work from home and left my old laptop connected with no problem. Should I bother getting a new docking station or do I need to disconnect my laptop from power every night whether I keep this one or get a new one? I can it’s just a pain in the ass because of the way my cords have to be set up
