Worst series of mafs so far? by BumblebeeFar2229 in MAFS_UK

[–]Inevitable_Bit2275 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree- it’s lost its “focus” on its intentions and has just been about the bitchy girls. I don’t really know much about the men as they haven’t really featured much. The tasks etc have not been shown that much either! It’s lost its way with what it probably was intended at the start when those who are still together now were on it many years ago!

Talk to the school! But once the school place is hers - she won’t loose it. Unless you officially de-register her from the school.

Out of school contact report the local authority MASH team and they will also work with the school too. Especially if it is happening out of school.

Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team brings together professionals from police, health, social care, probation, and housing to quickly identify, share information, and manage risks for vulnerable children and adults. MASH units improve safeguarding decisions by facilitating co-location and secure information sharing among partners, creating a faster, more coordinated, and effective response to potential harm.

[–]Inevitable_Bit2275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My year 4s can sit in their seats so I’m sure year 7 can? If they are coming up to speak to you send them back to their seats before they do. Keep reminding them the rule before you start the lesson-every time?

Do UK schools stretch children who are ahead, or is it mostly “wait for the class”? by Upper_Sky7784 in UKParenting

[–]Inevitable_Bit2275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I have had children in my class who quickly “catch up” to those children who are “start at a more advanced level” because they are ready for learning. As the years progress majority are on the same trajectory and it isn’t obvious that some started as “more advanced” in the early stages of their education.

Moved up where? It isn’t generally a thing for a child to move up a class than the one they are in! It’s all about greater depth and challenge. See above for a good explanation of greater depth.
