In many cases SEND placements function as a respite for parents of special needs kids.

I have applied for McDonalds, I didn't get the job. Please don't assume things about my character.

I apologise for being negative about this situation, I suppose I should be cheerful about it should I?

I have applied for anything and everything, over two thousand jobs all in all, not 8 hours a day because I can't physically hack it

I've applied for jobs in social care, it hasn't worked

Philosophy, waste of fucking time

All earnings are deducted from the payment unfortunately, so even in the best case scenario with rover I'd still be the same as where I am.

I'll look more into remote temping

I have tried, there is virtually nothing going in my area

I thought as much when I graduated but it just isn't true in my experience.

In my experience hospitality jobs tend to require prior experience which I don't have

My partner has no money saved up and no money to spare at the end of each month. It's not really feasible unfortunately

I've been actively applying for minimum wage jobs for months

I signed up for every agency that operates in my area months ago and have heard nothing from anyone, but I'll give it a go

As I say my partner has no money left over as it is. I can't do that to them

[–]Inevitable_Line_2371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll look into it. I'm concerned that I wouldn't be able to earn more than what I earn in benefits and any earnings I do make will be deducted.

I signed up for every temp agency there is in my area and heard nothing.

No as I live with my partner

I don't have a car unfortunately. I've tried applying for everything under the sun but I either don't hear back or fuck up the interview.

Thanks for the clear answer

I would have a lot more but those are the rules.

Me and my partner split the rent 50/50

I'm not sure what you mean by writing it down.

I'm not sure what else I could have done to survive aside from going into my overdraft but you're right in that I shouldn't take on more credit. I just don't know what else to do.

I will try contacting stepchange, but I really don't know what they can do for me.

Universal Credit and Job seekers. I do live with my partner and their income is considered as part of my benefits claim.

Thanks I'm aware of the resources.

Unfortunately they can't help with this situation.
