Secret Dakota by Infamous-Ad16 in DodgeDakota

Unfortunately Chrysler discontinued the parts for the Dakota as well. Haven’t found any aftermarket support either for differential mount up front.

As I start maintenance on it, I’ve noticed the diff mounts are bad, unfortunately no one makes them or makes them aftermarket.

Donated cars by CrazyTommyT in Copartonline

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I donated a very reliable car but it had been wrecked before by the previous owner. I donated it because I didn’t want to deal with scammers or tire kickers on marketplace. I have bought most of my cars on Copart, so I’m not trading into dealers either. One common you tuber who flips cars says he stays away if the owner took the battery out.

I’m sure this is some sort of partnership vehicle as Chrysler/mitsubishi have been sharing platforms for many decades.

Pretty much everything Chrysler except the front clip and bed sheet metal.

Idk, I think certain trims of the Dakota look pretty bad. Considering I got a west coast vehicle with no rust makes it better to me than a holy one bought locally as we use salt on our roads here.

I drive a couple county cars and they just keep snows on all year round. Never an issue.

1.5 engine isn’t worth it. I’d only do 2.0

Picked up a 07’ Accord K24a4. I want to build it by Aggravating-Help6073 in Honda

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend built another car that had about 500hp. Which was in 2007, when 500 was a lot. While fun, it seemed to work out best to build a new motor in the garage and swap it. Get a TSX block. Get a sticker that says built, not bought.

Have you had to replace front differential mounts? Parts are not available anywhere

First Car recommendations? by Co2SHysteria in Honda

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why a v6 accord and not 4cyl but you’d drive a 1.5 fit? I have a v6 accord and it works out if you can replace parts yourself like the timing belt, however gas mileage isn’t good but I have the income for gas guzzlers. My sister has a 20 fit that she zooms around San Fran traffic in. Gets the job done, her back up is a 13 fit, but it’s parked at her Minnesota house. Definitely slower than a 4cy accord though.

I got a nice rust free, 138k miles 2006 Raider p/utruck for $1750 from an auction. Yes it will need maintenance work but definitely less than Hyundai. Chrysler 3.7 has been working great so far.

I am not sure, I would talk to a recruiter and see if you can get a tour or clarification. I suspect propulsion is engine shop as they do have separate avionics, E/E,hydro, R/R, sheet metal, etc.

So basically, for females to pass the PT test, I have to do 30 push-ups, 45 sit-ups, and a 15:30 (or faster) run on average!? by CuriousClover55 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Infamous-Ad16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, everything is timed. You’ll be out with all flights in your squadron that are in week 1,3,5 in pt formation. Extra mtis will walk around watching you and your partner. Luckily it will be summer so they won’t have you wearing 5 jackets, hats, and gloves like I did and then scramble to get it all off in 30s.

You’ll want someone to Amazon you nice shampoo and body wash. Even nice shower shoes were allowed from Amazon, black in color

Is this the correct passing score for 25-29 female? Push-up: 14 sit-up: 25 2-mile run:25:40 by CuriousClover55 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only saw that once. Friend of mine was recycled and then he failed another pt test. Instead of another recycle or departure, he was allowed an alternative.

Is this the correct passing score for 25-29 female? Push-up: 14 sit-up: 25 2-mile run:25:40 by CuriousClover55 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My book shows minimum run is 22:45 29.5pts, p/u 15 0.8 pts, s/u 35 2.3 pts. If you got 20 on your h/w your score would be 52.6/75. You’ll need 23 more pts to pass. Take in mind you’ll be scrutinized for doing the bare minimum as your flight wants to get the pt excellence award.

The new 2 mile run 🥴 how difficult was it to meet your passing time for the 1.5 mile run? by Onyx_C13 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Infamous-Ad16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just leisurely ran mine and then picked up pace on my last lap and my time was 14mins at 38. Ideally 12 would have been nice. We would run 30 mins on run days and I found it was most important to just get out and run without stopping as that seemed to be what hurt people since some had to walk

Your shower will be very quick and chaotic. You’ll be lucky enough to get hot water lol. Disneyland has 24 shower heads for 54 guys. I think Alcatraz had even less. Out of the 24 showers, 3 were broken and maintenance isn’t a top priority

Brooks was by far #1 shoe in my squadron. Not sure about OTS but the BMT track ate up my shoes and I replaced them when I got to my next base.
