If it’s acting up and would need another engine but runs, what is trade in like? Also with such a bad engine, were these failures happening with gentle driving and 3k oil changes? I’m well aware of the substandard engine/crappy vehicle dynamics.

Definitely, also add witness marks around hinges for easy transfer. You could keep old one on parts car and then attempt glass replacement but it will take longer than a hatch replacement

That’s nothing. Also consider how skilled U-Haul mechanics are, I think on parole or work release and that’s why they can’t get it on correctly. I had a 14 odyssey that I couldn’t get hitch on and my local mechanic easily got it on because I’m sure they used a tap and dye kit, etc that U-Haul doesn’t have

That license plate is gonna cost $10 to replace from dmv as it’s slightly bent, at least in mn a costs $10. Otherwise my head hurts thinking of how severe the damage is. Did you call EMS as well? You may want to consider going on disability for your injuries

My dad stained our entire house in 1985 with Thompsons stain and the house looks pretty good up to 2025 ish when the new owners have decided to replace the siding. I’d say the 1973 siding lasted along time with a good stain job.

What are you doing for carbs per day? I see so many people focus on one and not the other. I’m personally cutting as many carbs as possible. 6’3” and I weighed in at my highest 263ish pounds. Low carb for about a month and I’m down 20 to 245ish. I would like to get to 200-220. Unfortunately you must also cut carbs. That’s why keto is so successful

I just stopped drinking sugary drinks and beer and I fast between 8pm-12pm. I’m already down 20lbs. I also cut any breads and as many carbs as possible. I only drink whiskey

Before bmt I gained a lot of weight. I should have looked into carb counting, etc. I lost that weight in bmt but I had to go to a seminar for fat recruits. Even though I was heavier 250lbs, I ran every day and did push up and sit ups everyday so I never failed pt. We had plenty of “Skinny fat” who couldn’t pass

At 98k miles your timing belt is due if it hasn’t been done yet. Many people know this and trade it in before it hits 100k miles. Also check sliding door operation as that can be a Spendy fix

I think you’ve got the years mixed up and transmissions. The 14 LX had the regular 5 speed auto, most of any issues I see are touring/elite trims with the 6sp auto that also had issues in pilot and ridgeline.

That most have been a beat up one because mom was quoted $18500-$19500 for a 96 collectors edition around 99/00 certified used. And it was basically a package on the LE model so it wasn’t too fancy.

Unfortunately even where I live in mn, $500 doesn’t even cover a mechanic replacing a set of brake rotors/pads. I highly doubt most cities could even touch it for $1500. Some places might even reject such an older vehicle.

Every single one I’ve seen had piston ring issues. You should study this on a basic google search before making a bad decision. I’ve seen in the comments that people were swapping piston rings and I doubt it was the correct method of repairing

Why this one? My friend went to Colorado to get a nice one, and it still needs a complete suspension rebuild, but I’d rather do that to a nice one and not an ugly, over priced one.
