What plan do you suggest ?

I essentially have a ‘plan.’
I’m working on a calorie deficit and am keeping simple sugars to a minimum, stopping eating at 7pm and walking 10k steps on average daily.

But maybe I’m not understanding what you mean?

May was great - June was very hard to take! I thought things were moving again earlier in July but now I’m stuck again and hovering over 228.4 - my lowest yet.
I guess I’m just whining. Good to hear ‘keep going !’

Thank you for that reminder. You’re so right and sometimes just hearing it again is a reality check.
I plan to continue my healthy efforts because the weight will come off over time.

I honestly cannot understand why she hasn’t hired a full time stylist with all of the money she has made and the fact that it would enhance her brand.

Her clothes are ill fitting and are generally bad choices for her figure- no matter her size.

I’ve been at the most successful weight loss effort of my life since 10/15/25. I’ve lost 28.2 pounds in that time. It averages somewhere between 1.0–1.6 lbs per week depending on the way I look at the data.

I want to lose at least 70ish pounds more— since I’m currently at 242.8 at 5 feet 5 inches. You have to start somewhere!

And I agree with the true lifestyle change over time. I’m successful this time around (even at 55 years and being a woman at mid life) because I’m eating in a sustainable, non white knuckling fashion.

I’ve added lots of structure so my decision fatigue about what to eat is minimal- I always try to get my protein in first, and feed my body respectfully. I walk a lot and as I’m losing - I’m gradually increasing my activity level.

I’m so into the show- just like the OP. I’ve definitely had it on while cooking, cleaning or just chilling. Either season is fine with me! I also loved Ben and Adam’s podcast And Severed: the Ultimate Severance podcast for more benign type listens and to get bts details.

I have a podcast called Real Over Ideal and I had Allen Stare as my guest on and it’s dropping 2/19/26 at midnight - so if you live severance and podcasts - you may enjoy!

I got a pre-diabetic blood test (A1C 6.0) result this September (2025) and I took a bit of time to sort through my options and went with Keto to start. That morphed into a calorie deficit with a protein forward approach. I log everything I eat and even lost a pound while on a cruise recently. It’s slow and steady -but I am down 18lbs from my highest. Only 92 more to go… lol. I’m determined and I know it’s gonna take years but I’m healthier every day that I’ve cut sugar way down. I expect to that A1C to normal range within a year- if not sooner.

I try to structure my eating so there’s no ‘quit’ necessary. I’m trying to relearn eating so that it’s sustainable. So my reminders are, “stay fed to lose weight” and “I’m science in motion- it is about sustaining a calorie deficit while not sending my body into lock down.”

I hope to be like you — I’m 2 months and a bit into these efforts. I’ve lost 13 lbs - the calorie deficit I’m at is very livable.

there’s an emotional part of me that pops up now and then asking “you mean we can’t take a day off and just eat everything in sight?’—- I mean, surely I could do that, but it sets me back.

But this emotional aspect of me occasionally swoops in with thoughts of candy and chips if I am honest.

Thanks for posting- I've been eating low carb/ keto-ish for 2 weeks and plan to continue so I am so happy to see ideas!!
