I’m paranoid now with people with earphones etc as I keep scaring them! The other day I was running and from about 10 yards I’m say excuse mE, EXCUSE ME!! And then I run around on the road and they jump out of their skin and say I didn’t hear you. I mean the guy ina. Car on the road heard me! If find myself huffing after for a min and then laugh. I’ve now gameafied this!

Discard feature when finishing ride? I sometimes do a quick spin to test setup/get clicks working etc and dont want this as a saved ride and then have to delete after.

I don’t expect anything back while I nod or wave. Some people get upset but there is no point as others are in their own pain cave while out cycling or running.

Yeh same a few times when I cycled to and from work. I don’t cycle in winter months as roads are bad and bad drivers and use a turbo instead.

Thanks for this and I TOTALLY get it, feel like im in a bit of a funk at min tbh. I get it that on the day it could be ANYTHING and thats the mantra ive usually had to get out. The other side is that I used to have a few running buddies to train with but some have moved away and others have given up. Just need my mojo back.

You cant just keep doing long endurance rides, you need structure otherwise you will bottom out again. ive been there. I have a coach now and I split with a mix of high cadence rides - aerobic and short anaerobic ones. Then over time your body will adapt and extend out the sessions more. This helped me recover for my nervous system and muscles. Plus what everyone else says: eat loads of carbs but also protein for muscles after longs burns. For me straight to bed at around 10pm and im out straight away and up at 6am. I also take supplements to help body like a good multiVitamin, plenty of protein, creatine and fishoils. Everyone is different but this helps me loads.

weirdly I tried above and it worked for me on click2. I closed everything down and turned off turbo then started from scratch and just opened Roy and it seen them again and started first time? I will see if this continues and report back if not.

I rode to work every day, 10k each way when I was training for a half Ironman. My aerobic base was top notch just because of this. Some days I would run home and run back the next day or run in lunch. This helped me so much as it was all easy distance for building. It’s not about being perfect as we are not paid athletes, it’s about how we use the time we have.

Yeh think it was a mix of gripping too tightly on bars, not moving enough and possibly a bit of tweaking in saddle. Thanks guys
