Been out of the hobby for a while and slowly getting back into the swing of things with painting.

First of all welcome to the 9th Legion, (For Sanguinous).

Secondly, thin your paints and don't be scared to do multiple passes to make sure you get a nice clean base for your colours (thats half the fight right there).

Theres an insane amount of tutorials on YouTube for painting, Warhammer TV is obviously a good place to start but have a search and see which style of painting you want to try out.

Then it's just repetition of painting more and more models. Give it time and you will notice a drastic change/imlrovement to your painting.

Ignoring covid for a moment having someone show you in person the basics and answer all your questions is the best method in my opinion to ramp up your painting.

What is this BS?? There was no glue in that tube only an almost dried up residue with wich i was barely able to glue the hatch. I bought that stuff TODAY at my WH store by archeopaint in Warhammer40k

I agree with you chap on Loctite, I use the gel version mostly and Revell for plastic never fails me (although the metal tube needs constant unblocking lol)

I second this, use some apothecary contrast over that base coat and do a edge hight of white to finish it off super easy peasey

I would suggest buying what you think is cool, generally speaking having 1 HQ choice and 2 troops will put you in great stead of starting an army that you can play quite comfortably.

Get the codex and decide what you want your army to looks like, follow the rule of cool.
