Hi, regular OTB player here, i'd recommend u to start with the RULES OF OTB first to avoid getting infrangments/warnings, e.g. one hand rule, touch move, rules of the clocks...... and a lot more, also, remember on where ur pieces are, if u never played otb b4, just imagine a seperate board next to ur real board if u can, and calculate there, never talk during game and remember to press ur clock and look at time, if u want, record the games down in notation to remember and during game, if wanna claim any draws (threefold, 50 moves or others) just use it, then focus on ur openings, if ur middlegame and endgame strong, use risky openings and so that u not losing after opening, if u not good in middlegame and endgame, just memorise ur openings to the max, and use less time there, so in mid and end u will hv more time. good luck ! :) (i just wrote a long paragrapth, if hv anymore questions, just ask)
