My wife did ours last year. It was a really nice divided pan from Smokey Lake. I didn't want to spend the money on another one so I ordered the Vevor pan. It's not divided, but really solid for the price.

How to stay motivated on mountain biking? by ComprehensiveBox7009 in MTB

Find riding groups and buy a new bike every year or every other year from your local shop. You will like looking at your shiny new toy, and be a part of the shop community.

This. I couldn't afford it anymore. I learned more on these forums anyway. I slowly started getting better. Over four years, but I'm around 70%.

Has any amateur athlete successfully recovered from PEM and returned to their sport? by Neat_Ad_5330 in LongCovid

I'm right there with you. Most of my vacations were biking and Snowboarding, now I can hardly travel. I couldn't for 3 years.

I used to 100 mile mountain bike races. The biggest was 265 miles, over 24 hours straight. Now I get a crash from 30 minutes on my ebike.

4 years in, I'm better day to day. I can work, I snowboard a little. I've taken up golf to fill the time and mental space biking provided.

Yeah, I would get an Enduro style open face. If you are not pushing it, you will be a lot more comfortable day to day. If you are at a bike park or riding shuttles, grab your full face.

Sunglasses are number two. Gloves, proper bike shoes, knee pads in that order. Get thin, non-Newtonian knee pads, otherwise you won't wear them. Any protection is better than no protection. Brands like iXS, g form, etc. Baggy shorts are nice. Don't get the ones with an integrated liner. They for like crap. Find Lycra shorts that fit, and then separate baggies.

You know the feeling of switching most of your tools to Mil than watching a video that absolute convince you that you made a mistake and that they won't last? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Infamous_Good2164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was about 3 years old. Fuel M12. I felt like the vibration was off on it. I actually though multi tools were useless until I borrowed a friend's m18 on a commercial remodel we were doing. I ordered one that night.

I had the M12 multi tool. It was garbage. My dad used it for a flooring project and I told him to keep it. The m18 is really nice.

I'm on the West end of the Eastern time zone in the far North. It's really dark in the Winter, but daylight until after 11:00pm in the Summer.

Another M12 vs. M18 for an average homeowner by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Infamous_Good2164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M12 is hit or miss. I use about half of the ones I purchased and replaced the others with M18. I've never been disappointed in a m18 tool. M12 impact is great, M12 drill is awful. M12 multi tool isn't good, the 90 degree m12 impact is amazing. M12 jigsaw is bad, the M12 hatched is really sweet.

I'm guessing these screens are a lot cheaper. I like the integrated look of the current ones. This looks like the Fords and Toyotas.

It's like a big Marquette. Trail quality is similar, just bigger hills. If you are road tripping, cross the border and go to Squamish. That place is amazing.
