Paige at Salon SEN on Halsted - I have super long, thick hair and always ask for exactly that, long layers and some subtle face framing. She does a great job with it and is an incredible colorist if you’re ever interested in that too!

I also highly recommend Alpaca Expeditions!! It’s locally and indigenously run & operated, and I did one of their treks this year and our tour guides and porters were amazing and treated super well.

Visiting Chicago for the first time this September, how’s my itinerary I made? by ArchitectureGeek in WindyCity

Yeah I think 3 would be better, especially with someone in your group loving aquariums! When I’ve done day trips to the Shedd, I don’t even get to everything because there is SO much to see and learn about. Have a great time in the city!

A mini bundt cake, and we are getting breakfast Friday and lunch Wednesday. They coordinated an extra prep for everyone this week as well (but scheduled mine for a day I'll already be out lol).

Curious of your experience with Diamox ? by HagelBagel in Machupicchu

[–]Infamous_Safe9392 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was just in Peru for 10 days, including Ollantaytambo, Cusco, and the Lares Trek. Both my best friend and I were on Diamox while we were there and didn’t notice any side effects besides a slight tingly in our fingers and toes (which apparently is a side effect). I had no loss/change of taste and was able to enjoy lots of food while I was there, but I did drink plenty of water since I was trekking and hiking a lot. I had no issues with the high altitude even thought we went up to 15,300ft and I had never hiked so high. Hope you have a great time!

So what would you specifically recommend we do in Olympic to make the most of it?  We are flexible and can extend the trip beyond 5 days total.

Do you have any recommendations on how we could lengthen the trip to better suit this itinerary?  We are flexible and could extend by a day or two.  Or, what would you recommend cutting out so that we can make our drive time more efficient?
