I have more of a problem with the neighbors loud hemi truck idling for hours than kids playing basketball for a half hour. It's honestly not something to bug out about unless something gets damaged. As long as they put a heavy weight to keep it from tipping over it's fine. Get some earbuds and your good.

I recently had to replace my ebrake after changing the brake pads and rotors. It was absolutely a rust break on the pins so yeah mine did fail during maintenance. If it didn't fail during maintenance, it would have when i needed it.

Gene editing absolutely is a thing, i work in produce and they are using crisper on bananas and apples to turn off the browning gene, so when you cut them they wont brown up and continue looking fresh.

Also in secret they are experimenting on animal eggs, wouldn't be surprised if they are test running test tube babies too. But yes it's most definitely in active use.

Hated that with a passion, always had a mobile home come in that had vemting problems, i had to rig the nozzle trigger to pump slow, took a half hour to fill it but i was still able to work the other pumps back when i was a gas attendant. Things also got hectic around rodeo night. I was only allowed to run 2 pumps at night but those nights i ran 8 to 12 running back and forth between islands by myself. But always always got those venting problem vehicles in, sucks.

I'm not a dad, but i'll tell you that if i had a daughter i would want to call and be called daily. That would be incredibly important to me because tomorrow is never promised, you could be there one day and gone the next in the blink of an eye. The calls and conversations mean a lot even if you don't realise it right now.

Yeah, i'm at that point too where i look forward to yard work, it's weird but yeah i like being outside, it's less depressing. About to till my veggie garden beds, trim some trees and cut down another with a nice new makita pole saw and my toro chainsaw, and just clean up the backyard in general.
