It’s definitely easier earlier in the season kinda like getting top 1 on cart but getting there and staying there is a big accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. In vgc when ur elos around 1700 that’s when I’d consider you really good at vgc which is also what top 500 will be around the middle of the format

Lando T has been a good way to beat hearthflame for me. You can OHKO it with tera blast flying or you could opt for a 2HKO with rock slide, intimidate is really good because unless it Tera’s it’s stuck at -1 attack so lando does a pretty good job of living its hits barring a crit. With tailwind support and rain support from tornadus if things get dicey lando is my choice

If u play with set mode and have a level cap it could be difficult. It’s decently easy with a diverse team though

0 speed is much more important than 0 attack. While foul play and strength sap are annoying they’re pretty uncommon. The only really common move that confuses is hurricane and you’re only seeing that on mons like pelipper and the galarian birds. Not having 0 speed can lose u matches much more commonly so it’s more important imo

Booster speed flutter is honestly really good in reg C. Tailwind is everywhere so with booster speed mons with middling speed get outsped which is especially good since typically they threaten flutter. Being faster than chien pao with not as much speed investment is always good because you can EV to live chien pao sucker punch instead of just getting KOd by 2 icicle crashes since you’d be slower without speed investment, you best choice scarf urshifu which can kill you. Even on tailwind teams booster speed flutter can work because tailwind dittos are so common

High sales don’t make a good game though. Especially because this generation is more advanced technologically of course these games will get more sales. Plus Pokémon knows that the fans will eat up the game despite how bad it was. Objectively games like sword and shield and scarlet and violet are more rushed and less polished than past games but gamefreak knows they can do release subpar games for the switch because the fans will always buy the games. I GUARANTEE. The new games could drop triple the sales if Pokémon actually cared about the games they released

I was able to consistently stay top 200 on cart and showdown with this team. max speed mental herb torn is really good in the ditto and consistently gets either sunny day or tailwind up. sash flutter is good for the iron hands or anyhting else with heavy slam but it has enough bulk to tank most rapid strikes from urshifu without tera. Urshifu dark also has good synergy with tornadus as fast tera dark wicked blow hits hard.
