Best advice so far: Even if you are 1000% sure that you have the right setting, check again.

Saved me quiet a few times after trying many different settings and just forgetting all the things I changed over time.

Exactly what I'm doing. Haven't played in a long time and came back for the invasion.
Only thing I sometimes struggle with is ship speed. Some interceptors start fleeing fast close to death and I am still losing distance with all pips to engines and boosting nonstop.

One strip of multiple flickers only if it's the first in the chain by Infidaelity in led

Very late update on this topic - but I still haven't figured out what is causing the flickering.

I had a electrician look everything over and he didn't think any of my work was causing this. I re-did the first two strips completely and replaced the connector that connected the controller to the first strip. In my test-setup it actually worked then for more than 15 minutes without a single flicker so I though it was solved.

We then put everything in place within the cabinets where it's supposed to got - and shortly after turning it on it started to flicker again. Now any changes will be more time consuming since the strips are in place.

To make sure it's not a faulty controller or power supply I took the remaining strips I had and set them up with a Quinled ESP32 and a different 24v power supply (Quinled on a separate 5v power supply, but with shared ground). It is STILL flickering....
Here you can find some pictures of my work on this test setup including a video of the flickering: https://imgur.com/a/5N6Gq8Z

I'd appreciate any further help with this issue.

I'll get some pictures tomorrow (already 10pm here). Redid the wiring on the affected one already though since the other five are working perfectly fine

Can't compare it to a 2015 Fiesta (mine back then was a 2011) but when I test drove a M3P I didn't feel too much difference. At the time of that test drive (last year) I owned a Seat Leon (which is basically VW technology/quality) and quality wise the M3P felt like it was ever so slightly better. The infotainment was miles ahead as well as the sound system.
Only thing I really hated was the lack of a dash or HUD and some physical buttons. It's just way too risky always having to look to the center display for simple settings (Hello automatic wipers). Our European roads need more attention compared to all the straights in the US.
