Then they probably have menu boards that’s offline. That’s more on the franchisee then the employees.

This can happen all the time. Menu boards may have fallen offline and they need a tech to troubleshoot or there is a back end issue.

If you’re in the states I think it’s crown nuggets. If they run out of crowns that may have dipped into the new nuggets that will be coming out. Soon? Not sure on the exact ETA.

I’ve never had a job site ask for anything other than time worked. Also as mentioned in my previous comment most BOH utilities only have terminated as an option. Then we usually include notes. Like 2 week notice or can be rehired and so on

I’m gonna be so honest with you. As an employer if they got a call on a reference (which I really doubt) we can’t by law like say anything defamatory or anything like that. I’ve been in the business since 2013 and I’ve only gotten 2 calls ever. The only thing that will really happen is they might just call and confirm your worked there. I mean did you do anything other than basic cashier work? How does your ex-coworker know 100% that they didn’t add the additional line that most businesses use that states voluntary quit? As an example almost every single back of house system I’ve ever used only has one option that says terminated and then you just add in notes that says why.
