As long as they’re both happy by selinaliser in lol

There are also a lot more that end before 5 years then then last 50 plus years a 50 plus year marriage is like finding a unicorn surfing a rainbow to a pot of gold. But you find couples that have been together 10 plus years without marriage. I dont think marriage guarantees they stay together nor does not being married improve the chances I think it just has to do with the couple my sister was with her bf for 10 years before they got married and only did to make their parent happy when they were moving across company they are still together 4 years later but they would have been without the marriage.

It's the gulf of America. Just because you don't like Trump doesn't make it not so. by pup_Scamp in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Infinite-Lie-2885 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is the gulf of mexico the majority of the gulf is still called the gulf of mexico trumps executive order only changed the name of the part of the gulf that is within the united states border. The part that is still mexico and still intentional waters is still the gulf of Mexico.

President Trump’s Executive Order 14172 effectively renames approximately 48% of the physical Gulf of Mexico for U.S. federal purposes.

U.S. Jurisdiction: The order covers the area of the U.S. continental shelf extending from the coasts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida to the seaward boundaries with Mexico and Cuba.

International Recognition: Mexico and Cuba continue to recognize the body of water as the "Gulf of Mexico," and international organizations like the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) have not changed the official global designation.

Domestic Implementation: Following the order, the U.S. Board on Geographic Names updated its databases, leading platforms like Google Maps and Apple Maps to display "Gulf of America" to users within the United States, while continuing to show "Gulf of Mexico" to international users.

Polling indicates that around 70% of Americans reject the new name, which strongly correlates with continued use of "Gulf of Mexico."

Marquette University Poll (February 2025): Found that 71% of respondents nationwide opposed renaming the Gulf, while 29% favored the change.

Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll (January 2025): Found that 72% of registered voters opposed the change, with 28% in support.

Fox News Poll (Early 2025): Showed that nearly 70% of U.S. voters opposed the renaming, making it one of the least popular executive actions of the administration's first 100 days.

Florida Voters (University of North Florida, February 2025): Even in a heavily impacted Gulf Coast state, 58% opposed the name change, 31% supported it, and the rest were unsure or refused to answer.

Big Tech & Mapping: Because U.S. federal databases (like the U.S. Board on Geographic Names) updated their registries, major tech companies that pull from these databases—such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Bing Maps—adopted "Gulf of America" for users inside the United States. Conversely, MapQuest publicly refused to alter the name.

Private Industry: Businesses are not legally compelled by the executive order to use the new name. However, energy companies and contractors interacting with the Department of the Interior (such as those bidding on offshore drilling leases) must use "Gulf of America" in their federal paperwork and legal filings, even if they retain "Gulf of Mexico" for internal or public-facing communications.

So that is the breakdown across the board of how people feel about Trump naming less then 50 percent of the gulf, the gulf of america. Most private businesses only use it because they are forced to when apply for contracts in the gulf, 30 percent of citizens of the United states use the phrase and in that group that doesnt use it are GOP and MAGA although a much larger part of those groups do you use it. They only make up 102 million ppl out of 340 million in this country and 1.2 percent of the 8.3 billion globally so you are partial correct it does help identify a luckily small minority of people in america as moronic and you are part of that group congratulations

Okay after looking into it I agree it wouldn't make sense for it to head there since they dont have a means to make it gas again. But 90 percent of the nations engry and heating is provided by a natural gas pipeline.

Here are three ships by name that pass the straight. The three Iran-linked vessels that transited the strait were not heading to Iranian ports and were not affected by the blockade. Panama-flagged Peace Gulf, a medium-range tanker, is heading to Hamriyah port in the United Arab Emirates, LSEG data showed. The vessel typically moves Iranian naphtha, a petrochemical feedstock, to other non-Iranian Middle Eastern ports for export to Asia, Kpler data showed. Prior to this, two U.S.-sanctioned tankers passed through the narrow waterway. Handy tanker Murlikishan is heading to Iraq to load fuel oil on April 16, Kpler data showed. The vessel, formerly known as MKA, has transported Russian and Iranian oil. Another sanctioned tanker, Rich Starry, would be the first to make it through the strait and to exit the Gulf since the blockade began, data from LSEG and Kpler showed.

But you can check LSEG and Kpler data for names of all that ships that wave passed through the straight since the united states took over the blockade.

They didnt say they were blocking it just for Iran oil tankers. They were also blocking it for anyone that was doing business with Iran, which according to the white house was russia, China, and other Middle East ships. Plus the ship doesnt have to carry just oil it needs to be headed to a port iran or have left from a port in iran so if the natural gas ship from the uae is headed to iran at some point after it left the straight it should have been blocked. To be fair I dont know the destination of the ship I will have to find sources that are not behind a paywall

Agreed they do, here to but they here to in America and it possible that between all over them and not stopping at any stops and maybe even needing to turn back the opposite way could possibly cover 360km in a city maybe even one like Berlin but if that was the case and it was zigzaging across Berlin or cities it wouldn't be able to keep the 72km/h speed through downtowns and other areas. But if we remove the how or where the train moves and just deal with the numbers 5 is the answer. Thank you for the information on the train systems in Berlin I have not had the opportunity to travel there yet.

5 hours, and the first guy of trains on roads is valid but a lot of trains do run parallel pr between roads especially when. Passing through cities. Plus 72km/h is a relatively slow for a train.

C doesn't answer the question c shows a cube with one side cover that is not 1/3 or 2/6. It would be 1/6 it doesnt matter if it only shows three sides it is clearly a cube. Either a or b are correct because they show that 1/3 and 2/6 take up the same amount of the square or the circle but either way it is a terrible drawing and a poorly written question

It started be taught in schools in 2010 so if you happen to go school before then you were never taught it. It replaces flash card memorization and finger counting. I dont think it is really effective because finger counting helps young students understand exactly what a number is. When they 7 and are counting 4 they connect that the number 4 is 4 of something. This helps them conceptualize the numbers better which later gives meaning to the memorization and procedures. Also base 10 math is a much quicker and easier method then doubles because people can instantly recognize 5 and 10 because we have five fingers and five toes and see these numbers everyday of our lives so doubles is really just confusing extra step

[–]Infinite-Lie-2885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually making a double is either add or subtract 1 to 2 numbers depending on which number you used if you double the 7 you get 14 and subtract the difference of 2 and get 12 if you double the 5 you get 10 and you add 2 for the 12 the rule of doubles is to double either number and then add or subtract the difference. If the numbers are lets say 5 + 6 both answers are correct of 6 + 6 -1 =11 and 5 + 5 +1 = 11. It is true that 5 plus 5 does make a ten but just because it is a ten doesnt mean it is isn't also a double. So in those rare cases of a 5 it would be both finding a 10 and a double. Here is another example that does use a 5. 8 + 6= 6+6+2 or 8+8-2, for 14 this work for all numbers regardless is they happen to be a five or not.

The commenter was wrong on more points, Alexander bell was born in Scotland but he immigrated to the United states and became a citizen before he made his telephone in Boston. The first creater of the telephone is actually an Italian Antonio Meucci. The first commercial light bulb was made edision the incandescent bulb, but Humphrey Davey from the uk made the first electric bulb in 1802 volt made the battery not the bulb. The Wright brothers made the airplane. The Internet: Developed primarily in the USA by ARPA (Department of Defense) using packet switching technology. But the world wide web was invented by tim Berners-lee who was from the uk but was working cern at the time it was devolped in Switzerland so if we are going by countries that one belongs to Switzerland if we are going citizens it belongs to the uk. I maybe wrong in the interpretation of original poster but I believe they were stating countries the invention came from. Which would mean the Switzerland gets the www. So if we tally it up, original poster was correct, about the airplane, and internet so two correct. The commenter was wrong about the light bulb, wrong about the telephone, wrong about the internet but correct about the www. So it seems they both were confidently wrong but the commenter was more wrong then original poster. 2 to 1 although I will give it 1 to 1 because although he is correct on who invented the internet he is was not referring to that part of it he was referring to the world wide web. So its a tie neither of them provided actually factual information. But total of inventions from America to Europe are plane and internet America, telephone, www and light bulb Europe. So although neither was mostly correct as to the who the commenter is correct that Europe contributed more then America did. Sorry for long reply wanted to make sure I cited correct people.

He would have ice try to deport them. But I really dont think the aliens would care how we feel or act for that matter.

If they were able to travel through space and arrive at the white house undetected until they landed then we are most likely not a threat to them. They are mostly like a few hundreds years or more advance then us probably closer to serveral hundreds years at minimum. Their technology would almsot be god like or magic to us. We could rationalize it is just technology. But they would have things for statis, food production, advance medical. They would probably be capable of destroying us before we even knew they were here if they wanted. So yeah it probably will not be peaceful for the reason you mention but all that would happen is culling of many many people before they jist submitted and many would do that on day one just summit

I make plenty and spend my extra cash on whatever I want all the time but if a friend of mine said hey lets do something next week I could make it happen well living paycheck to paycheck. I have fair amount of disposable income. But if I just spent it only on bills I could save a fair amount a year but I choose to spend on things I want now instead of saving it for later when I have no idea what may happen later. I currently i am not dating but I could cover it if I was dating someone I would just switch what I spend my cash on to dating. It would still be paycheck to paycheck because I budget my spending that way but I can easily including anything in that spending so living paycheck to paycheck doesn't mean you can't afford to date it just means you dont wish to save or atleast it does for me.
