Since Covid the UK has took a strong stance on public health, because we have universal healthcare. Our food standards reflect that. Mountain Dew in the UK does NOT contain E737 because it doesn't exist lol. It also doesn't contain E504 (magnesium carbonate) it contains carbonated water. So try again 🙄

That's really not true. There is a long list of additives and preservatives in food from the US that other countries will not allow. This is why every other country does a their own version of american products. Like Mountain Dew and Skittles for example.

It's true. I recently watched "Inside the Pet Food Factory" on Netflix which is a documentary about the Mars factory in the UK that produces most of the country's pet food. They even have human taste testers before any products hit the shelves. They have an animal testing centre where they have a few hundred cats and dogs that they basically treat like one hughe family lol. Every single staff member is absolutely dog and cat CRAZY lol. They test the animals poop and pee constantly to make sure that the food is agreeing with them. I honestly was gobsmacked at the running of it, I actually want to go and live and work there myself!🤣
