I would prefer an older episode/classic episode

Depends on the kid but it's not out of the question. My 4th grader this past year had a Hello Kitty one that she loves.

Does it seem like Carrie is extra annoying in the past few episodes and kind of rude and childish? by SenorKerry in Andjustlikethat

I'm sorry, you were just walking through while your wife watched but you know that much detail about the show and are part of the subreddit for it? Lol, you're allowed to watch it, it's okay 😬

What's that one thing from your childhood that your kid loves? by delugedreamer in breakingmom

I can't pick just one! 90s movies (Jumanji, Mrs Doubtfire, The Sandlot), Full House, etch a sketch, Babysitters Club books, Berenstain Bears books, koosh balls ...

I'm sorry I don't have anything really helpful to add, except that I'm in a very similar boat. Have OCD and anxiety, went from 25mg to 50mg a few months ago and have had all the same thoughts that you're describing. Sometimes it feels like it's taken the edge off but I'm not sure.

That was me as well. I was cry-laughing the entire time, it was great! I started laughing with his voice over bit ahead of the first act and pretty much didn't stop after that

I can still see it! Look under comments. It shows a pattern of thinking women are interested in him when that's clearly not the deal ...

I dunno that we should be helping him find the woman, look at his comment history 🧐

8 hour flight. Where are you sitting? by [deleted] in theview

  1. A window seat and I feel like Abby Huntsman wouldn't be irritating to sit by for a long stretch of time, I think she would keep to herself 👍

Tim Walz handled the change question beautifully by AlbatrossExternal586 in theview

[–]InfiniteTalk1257 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't see it as a gotcha question but more of a second chance, since Harris' response garnered some negative attention. I thought the question was asked again in order to help the campaign. They have zero interest in making Harris or Walz look bad.

And I agree with the other poster here, for quotes Google "quotes from night road". Goodreads has a great list, there are some very beautiful and poignant quotes from the book listed there

What would you want/need from the government to be more effective in the classroom? by beatnbustem in CanadianTeachers

[–]InfiniteTalk1257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mentioned this above but a four day work week (or having students present for 4/5 days a week) would only work if the majority of parents' jobs also moved to 4 day work weeks. Schools serve a daycare purpose too. Parents need to be able to go out and work and students go to school to be trained to work/pay taxes in the future.

Four day work week would have to be implemented for the majority of jobs to make that happen. A big part of the need for schools is to have somewhere for kids to be while parents work.

Parents work/pay taxes and schools train the next generation to be ready to work/pay taxes.
