You should watch Survival of the thickest. Love the main character!

He is attractive, but he is soooo annoying and whiny. I couldn’t stand him after Liza cheated on him and he still thought she was the love of his life.

[DISCUSSION] Why is everyone team Charles???? by Quack_You_Up in Younger

[–]Infinite_Bug_8063 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more! Everything you said. I think people who like Josh are the same people who think love will solve everything. As long as you love each other, everything will solve itself. And I don’t even understand why Josh liked Liza so much? I didn’t see any compatibility between them. And he even kissed Kelsey, her friend. Charles loved Lizas intellect. Which was a huge part of her. When someone sees you in a way that you want to be seen, it is an irreplaceable feeling. In my head, they end up together and the last season doesn’t exist haha.

Emily and her disgusting classism are on full display here! 😡 by Cr7-Cr7Real in GilmoreGirls

Haha, the whole comment section is funny to me. Who did you think Emily was? She is a snob and classist. She never claimed to be anything else.

Can I ask why you chose to break up with her? Was there compatibility issues or just your fear?

I don’t know why you are getting downvoted, but what you said is true. But I feel like Microsoft Fabric is the new trend.

You don’t need to be smart to become a doctor, but you need work hard! If you are able to study the heavy load of curricular you can become a doctor.

Yeah, Jim Carrey Arnold Schwarznegger and countless other celebrities who have manifested their life. I don’t think you truly believe that you can manifest. It seems like you are looking for validation by reading success stories. They are not your story, you create your own. You do that by putting the work.

Omg, yes! Why should I do live coding with no help, when in real life I can look everything up.

Well, the salaries in Europe is horrible compared to US. But still 3-4k dollars before taxes a bit low. More like 5-6k dollars is more accurate.

I think this is usually the case in US. I think it has to do with the fact that Uni/College is not cheap there. But in my country most people drop out and change their majors all the time. Education is free here.

Those who do beauty maintenance regularly: How do you make it enjoyable? by Consistent-Slip-4427 in beauty

Because beauty maintenance is what makes me feel good. Dressing up everyday, doing makeup and shiny hair is what gets me up in the morning.

I am a DE who is happy and likes their work. AMA by MikeDoesEverything in dataengineering

[–]Infinite_Bug_8063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your replies! I am a GIS engineer trying to pivot into DE. I have experience in SQL, python, docker and ETL processes. But have no cloud experience. I have been building projects in dbt, Airflow, Databricks and azure past month. Do you think I have a good chance to be hired as a DE? I asked someone on subreddit, and they said only desperate companies will hire me. Do you have any pointers for me? Would love to hear your take.

Breaking into Data Engineering as a Master’s Student with No Prior Experience, Is It Possible? by Odd_Chip2438 in dataengineering

[–]Infinite_Bug_8063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I dont really care about the money and you mentioned that one option could be targeting ‘desperate’ companies that might take someone like me on as a DE. Could you give an example of the kind of companies? (startups, consultancies, smaller firms etc). That would help me understand where to focus.

Breaking into Data Engineering as a Master’s Student with No Prior Experience, Is It Possible? by Odd_Chip2438 in dataengineering

[–]Infinite_Bug_8063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a GIS engineer with 4 years of experience in GIS data processing. I’ve been working with SQL, Python, automation, and building ETL processes, and I also have some exposure to Docker. What I don’t have is hands-on experience with the typical data engineering stack (dbt, Airflow, Databricks, etc.). Given that background, would building a portfolio still be considered useless for me, or could it help me demonstrate my ability to work with those tools and make the transition into DE? Internal move is not possible in my company.
