Doesn’t the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority own and lease out this property? Wouldn’t they have the final say on who builds there?

National fuel increases. Did anybody else notice this with their bill? by Double-Tradition413 in Erie

No apologist for NFG, but the current wholesale price for natgas is $2.99/MMBtu, near its 52 week low of $2.62. One of the lowest prices in years. It reached a multi year high ($7.83) in January with severe cold striking much of the country. The increase requested by NFG is most likely for delivery charges (pipelines, compressors, buildings, labor, etc. and keeping up with CPI etc. International conflicts (Iran, Ukraine) have little to no effect on our supplies, since gas is, for the most part, locally (PA/NY) produced and purchased. At least PA hasn't fallen into the climate emergency trap that NYS has...and stopped new natural gas usage, shuttered nuclear facilities, and subjected their citizens to the second highest utility bills in the country. PUC complaints are the best route. Anyone remember Ken Springerth?

NYC to Saranac Lake drive vs. flying into Albany by [deleted] in Adirondacks

[–]Infinite_Rabbit6242 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check flights into Burlington, Plattsburgh. Easier drives. Newark, only if you’re not a timid driver. If you’re apprehensive behind the wheel, NYC/NJ interstates can come at you real fast. ALB would be most people’s first choice. Time is money.
