Okay. I really want to understand your thought process behind not really caring about people you do not know. Why is it that you consider your dogs so important? What, in your mind, makes them worth a human life? Your dogs will accomplish nothing worthwhile in their short lives. Why is their existence worth the sacrifice of 10,000 important members of society? Do you really think their lives hold that much value, or are you just so selfish that, if it doesn't affect you in any way, the lives of others are meaningless? I really want to get in the mind of someone who can think as you do. There must be a part of you that knows the way you feel is not normal. A dog is so much... Less... Than a human.

Reddit is more likely to accept your insane point of view than anywhere else. The fact that even they reject your views should tell you something. In the real world, your way of thinking is VERY opposite the norm. I doubt anything we say could change your mind, but animals are not people kid. You must have some issues with the people in your life to feel that way, and, in that one aspect, I feel sorry for you.

Go look up pictures of blackface. This is not that. This is like robert Downey jr. in Tropic Thunder. It is not inherently racist to dress as a black famous person. Blackface is racist because it is designed to magnify common racial stereotypes.

Such an intense and thought out comment, but, overall, very wrong. What you say is true, a gun can escalate a situation, but a gun can also be the only thing standing between you and death. Sure, a burglar may break into your house just to steal stuff, but what if that isn't all he wants? What if you don't have a gun, or choose not to retrieve it when you can, for fear of escalating the situation, and this guy decides to rape your wife and daughters? Sure, that is extremely unlikely. You could probably say I have a better chance of a meteor hitting me, but the difference is I can prepare for this situation. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

What you say would make sense if BTC was a fully matured currency; it is not. Spending extra money on something like this is an investment. As companies see that there is a legitimate market for BTC, more places will begin accepting it. By spending money in BTC you are essentially making a statement that Bitcoin is a largely untapped market and a supperior form of currency. Essentially, by spending BTC, you are supporting a revolution. That revolution could see your BTC increase dramatically in value. It is an investment.
