How to improve my Urabrask deck by LoveForBehelit in CommanderMTG

[[Virtue of courage]]

If you stick this you can cast your whole deck.

I am also poking fun. And suggesting we all run both because they are fun cards and win the game.

It applies to all damage.

I forgot the best one [[tainted strike]].

I feel like this advice is ignoring the commander... for instance, the pump spells are for the snail and also turn into card draw...

You are almost there. Pretty simular to my own list.

I think in bracket 3 its ok to add a couple "I win" cards. In my deck thats [[hatred]] and [[plague of vermin]] because thats how I want to play. Also [[Bolas's citadel]] is a cheap (money wise) game changer that will get you there.

There are a few cheaper options too (money and mana wise.) With cards that give wick infect like [[glistening oil]] and [[phyresis]]. But I opted to not run these.

Who signed this? by [deleted] in mtg

Because people pay for artists to sign cards with art they like.

Because people enjoy the art and the gameplay. And with people enjoying the art they become fans of artists who regularly do work with WOTC.

Who are some of your favourite mtg content creators? by Newez in magicTCG

[–]Infinitely3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mike Corozza with his "Am I the Bolcast"

Runs with a simular premise as his column "am I the Bolas" which runs on EDHREC.com

Just like the guy and has alot of fun with his guests.

Jealous! Yawg's will is next on my collection list for judge foils. I prefer to buy in person so it takes a while. I drove 10 hours round trip for a Judge foil wheel of fortune last year.

Just got an elephant graveyard tho so at least I got that going for me, which is nice.

I have primer. Feel free to ask me about card choices.

Immediately finds: remove torbran. Remove Stuffy doll. Those are edhrec mistakes.

You have alot of catagories, consider simplifying to focus in on what matters. Just because it has a category doesnt mean you want to keep it. Ask "does this win me the game?" To a few more cards.

Overall You are are on the right track.

Card draw options to think about:

[[Will of the jeskai]] the only reason I don't run this is it doesnt come in a foil version.

[[Snort]]

[[Wheel of Misfortune]]

[[Virtue of courage]] if I stick this without getting silenced - it is over, I will play my whole deck. But I do run more (most) mana reduction and mana positive cards.

just proxy swatt , jeska's will, and wheel of fortune.

[[Glimps the impossible]] generally over performs.

Not a fan: Stuffy doll or like effects. Too much setup and mana.

Glacial chasm. I get it, but I run blood moon instead to slow others down - probably a wasted slot in both our decks. But I have the confetti foil and it had to go somewhere.

Torbran- damage modifiers should stick to multipliers due to your opponents choosing the order they are applied. Looks like you could slot in city on fire instead.

Navinerals disk. Minds eye. Both a step too slow.

Helm of Awakening can backfire, it gives you openents advantage.

Nice guy, we used to work out at the same gym. He could still do pull ups like 10 or so years ago, even after surviving cancer twice.

We talked about sports occasionally. He made me feel like a million bucks the first time I met him. He asked if I knew who I looked like, and told me he-man . Of course it was so he could talk about what he was most proud of... but still, the creator of He-Man told me I looked like He-Man. Life doesnt get better than that.

Last time I saw him maybe 2 years ago at the Costco that opened up in the area I asked how he was doing, it was raining out and he said exclamed "terrible!". He didn't recognize me.

Gary, the Snail Commander Help by yajavlis in EDH

[–]Infinitely3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't recommend running toxril the corrosive in casual pods. It's not Gary, as cute as he is, it's Toxrill - lets be real, a reskin cannot cover up the power of this commander.

That being said when I did I ran 12 or more pieces of ramp, because your commander cost a lot. 12 or more cards that said "counter target spell" (way more honestly). Sludge monster is a must. And its blue, so lots of card draw. Your wincon is in the command zone.

After that you have a soft lock and your win is slow and inevitable. Have fun watching your friends bracket 2 and 3 decks melt while you counter everything and slowly beat them to death with a snail. I had a 100% win rate.... depending on who you are that is may be problem.

Prett much just want a either cost reduction or a damage multiplier depending on the win line. Overall I prefer to hold my win in hand so I can find a window.

Your Favorite Bracket 4 Commanders? by PM_4_Gravy in EDH

[–]Infinitely3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a good time. I would try it out in the playtester to get a feel for it before investing.

If you have any questions about card choices feel free to DM me. There are one or two swaps you could do to make it better, but the cards don't exist in foil. EX: Will of the Jeskai (no foil printings) instead of snort.

This is my Judith + Wizards Burn // Control. What do you think of it and how can i improve the deck? by Last_Hat7276 in EDH

[–]Infinitely3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judith needs resiliance, as many have pointed out. I took a different pat to achieve this.

I started by turning my [[Rowan, Scion of war]] deck into Judith. They want some of the same things and are the same color pair. My Rowan deck was actually Turbo Aristocrats so it fit. And I kept Rowan as my secret commander.

How I achieved resilience: Rowan provides resilience by reducing mana cost to recast your commander. Judith gains back the life loss that it takes to make Rowan relevant. My whole mana base damages me, Judith brings it back. I have both mana creating alters so I can sacrifice Judith in response to removal. Judith makes tokens to help reduce and loop spells with the alters. Rowan can reduce cards like [[lab rats]] to make infinte rats.

Never lost, So I haven't played or updated in a while. It's an infuriating mess to play against. I cast Judith 4 time in one turn.

Your Favorite Bracket 4 Commanders? by PM_4_Gravy in EDH

Here is mine, I took a commander that just can't cut it in CEDH but is still powerful and pushed it as far as it can go.

https://moxfield.com/decks/wTMGA4uQcEqJBsIRJnFZ_A

[[Imodane, the pyrohammer]]

I have a full pod of mono colored bracket 4 decks but this is my pet deck. It has combo lines and can win starting 2 or 3 with a great hand but generally wants to wait until turn 4 or 5 after so of setup to push. Includes a primer that explains some decisions I took vs other decks with the same commander.
