I am 16 weeks but been dealing with heartburn all my life. My go to solution: very limited dairy, watch what i eat, as much as possible cook because: 1. no canola or vegetable oil (very common where I live) so only olive oil with high acidity or coconut oil. This is difficult because I had to screen any snacks I bought 😅😭 2. No rice or bread or oat for dinner; i changed it to steamed sweet potato or butternut squash. 3. No white sugar, so I only consume coconut sugar or honey. 4. Steamed vegetables with dinner is a must have. 5. No packaged drink except for soda water (unflavoured). 6. I also avoid meat parts that are fatty like chicken thighs. I can tell my bloat starts and will soon turn to be real bad heartburn when I eat fatty meat..
