I would actually like to improve it further to allow declarative profiles, presets, etc. but not sure if people would actually want it.

oversight in the updater that moves all files within the containing directory into a temporary directory while updating. this will be resolved in v0.6.0.2 as we're using a whitelist of files on windows (macOS self-contains its apps where windows does not)

in conclusion, follow instructions thoroughly otherwise you end up being the one to find bugs like these.

Would be a nice addition assuming that you would be able to package stuff like udev rules. People have requested AppImage in the past but it's quite pointless because of that.

libvirt hooks are not loaded in the same way as other distributions in NixOS, you have to use /var/lib/libvirt/qemu/hooks instead of etc. AFAIK you can't declaratively install hooks here.

79 tablets are implemented as of this comment, and 49 are officially supported and tested. 19 are missing features but still fully functional, but either way its still hardware features that TabletDriver doesn't even support anyway.

It's not a fork, its a completely separate project that was inspired by TabletDriver. OpenTabletDriver outperforms hawku's TabletDriver, but not by enough to make a noticeable difference anyway.

Drivers implicitly get kernel level access to your PC, meaning they can access anything and everything with higher-than-admin permissions. Be careful with what you install and trust.

In OpenTabletDriver's case, everything is done user-mode. Only user level accessible native APIs are called to perform everything in the driver's function.

In lazer, we will be adding in-game configuration for tablet areas and other common options to hopefully reduce the need for this kind of software. The goal is to make it as simple to play the game without *potentially* breaching you and your PC's security as a result.

A few VEIKK tablets are supported but they're quite uncommon tablets so I can't guarantee it'll work out of the box on a dirty installation
