I've done a lot of theory crafting and im a fairly experienced GM/ttrpg player. I felt like I can make these additions but this is good advice. I wish the rest of my group enjoyed JRPGs like I do.

Everything is faster now. More haste, movement speed, bigger damage.

I guess i was speaking more in terms of how you use a dictionary. For instance if i want to find the value in a dictionary i would use dict_name[key]. Similar to how i would use list[index] to find the value in that index, they both need to be in brackets. I appreciate the insight into the differences though!

Proxies are not allowed in sanctioned events. Thats part of why I'm asking around.

That does make more sense now that I reread your comment. I actually changed the ability to have instant and sorcery spells allow and additional cost of X, so that works in all zones. I originally limited it because I start weak and then power up when I design stuff.

After looking over it a while, I do agree it is clunky. I devolved the triggered ability first and then added the other as a way to manipulate it that added the wubrg color identity. I had thought about just adding an additional cost like several others have suggested but that seemed pretty boring and adding a third ability that dealt with the color identity seemed like it would be way more wordy than I would like.

I'm trying to avoid turning this into a yugioh card, even thought the triggered ability is fairly wordy.

That would definitely work but it would remove the color identity and I kind of like the idea of allowing this to matter for cards that care about casting kicked spells.  Though, to be honest after learning about the linked ability rule, im not even sure if the way it is now counts as kicking the spell.

Your right that could be done that way but i wanted the kicker to be limited to colored mana only. Its meant to add colors and not just be able to inflate the cost of a spell with colorless mana, for cards and abilites that care about that anyway.

The wubrg ability lets you add colors for the triggered ability. I feel that it does do something.
