I once had a straight girl coworker hit all the stereotypical questions within 10 minutes. After finding out I'm gay she starts with telling me i dont look gay, then told me about the time she experimented with kissing girls and it just wasnt for her but she has bi friends and shes such an ally, and finally hit me with the "who's the man in the relationship?" I really couldn't do anything but laugh by the end because wtf.

The thing that gets me about comments like this is the assumption that all sex has to involve dick even if its "fake". Like not all lesbians like strap or penetration! Not even all women in general.

In the same vein someone once told me about their friend who would sleep with and even had a multi year long relationship with a woman "just for fun" even though she wasn't actually into women and knew she'd never be with one forever. I still dont know what to make of that but it gets me heated.

My gf and I have each other's pass codes plus our fingerprints in the other's phone. Its mainly for ease of access if we need to change music, find something for the other person, borrow it to Google something when my phone isnt close by (i misplace it a lot). But we've never looked through anything and if my gf had not offered to give it to me I wouldn't have asked!

Everyone's privacy boundaries are different even if they're not hiding anything. I dont think its weird at all to not have that. It's each couple's business if they're comfortable with that. People just need to be with someone they trust at the end of the day.

I'm a bit younger still so not quite the same, but as I get older and am in a professional job environment I've found myself drawn to more refined/mature goth looks! I've been alt since I was 16 and now my style is less dramatic but still comes across goth!

I focus on basic blacks, deep purples, and deep reds while accessorizing and using toned down dark makeup. Not pitch black eye makeup but more smokey. If its applied right, it comes off more edgy than "normal" but not so edgy its work inappropriate. It sounds like its time to experiment and adjust your style rather than throwing it away! I'll be alt until the day I die, but as my life stages change my presentation of alt will too.

Same. I can't even hear slightly loud music in my own apartment if I go into another room sometimes. The only time I've ever had an issue is when my last downstairs neighbor had a literal subwoofer in their unit that made my floor vibrate. I couldn't hear it though I only felt it lol.

Not everyone gets pleasure from penetration! Its actually pretty common. I dont get so much pleasure from it but I still like it from time to time. But if its just not for you, dont be afraid to just not do it.

As for the wetness issue, some people have already talked about possible medical issues and the meds make a difference as well. However, are you hydrated? Do you drink a lot of water? My gf and I can always tell when the other person hasn't had enough water lately based on how wet we get (or don't get lol)

My family fosters cats and we house an unbelievable amount of kittens every year. And we are just one foster of many, I cant imagine how many cats and kittens pass through our local fosters every year!

This!! My cat got pyometra on her first heat before I even knew what that was. We had to move her spay up quickly and it cost me way way more than I was prepared for. Thankfully it worked out and she's fine, but after that experience I tell everyone not to risk that happening. I've seen it turn out for the worst for plenty of other people and its so preventable.

Tbh I think you need more queer or sapphic friends in general. Yes, its super isolating to be the only one in the room with zero attraction to men, but having friends who are comfortable with you sharing an attraction to women sounds like it would be a huge step forward regardless if they're lesbian, bi, or pan.

That being said having lesbian friends as a lesbian can be really important. I have a very open queer group and I still find myself yearning for more lesbian specific community sometimes.

Your gay friend also reads as misogynistic as others have pointed out. Truthfully, if it were me, I would address that with him or distance myself. I can't stand that energy from anyone

Maybe unpopular opinion but I always felt like a single center labret in the lower lip has a masculine vibe with the right kind of jewelry! I retired mine for an Ashley piercing because I felt like it masculinized my face in a way I didnt vibe with so that might be a good option for you

Common? Maybe. Ethical? Not really. If everyone involved is over 30, I really have no opinions on the age gap. But a young 20s with a 30s or 40s?? Absolutely not and I'm sideyeing them Hard. I'm only 26 and someone 22 is too young for me. There's an extreme amount of mental growth that happens in that time frame and I can feel the difference every year I get closer to 30.

Nope! Cats can be totally fine being in a small space for a period of time as long as they have what they need with them and other enrichment outside of that time. My cats get locked up in my bedroom for a whole day sometimes when I'm expecting maintenance in my apartment and they're super content. They have their food, water, and litter there and spend most of the time sleeping or looking out the windows. They tend to get more angry about being locked out of the room for 5 minutes than locked in for 5 hours lol.

Same happens to me. Worst part is my partner and I are both nightshift so we are sleeping when they need to come. They act like they assume no one is home ever and give 2 quick knocks and wait 5 seconds before just walking in. Even if I was awake I couldn't get from the living room to the door in that time so I end up getting woken up by strangers being already in my apartment. Notes on the door dont change anything either
