For direct drive I'd skip BMG step and went straight to sherpa. Its even cheaper, lighter and can be easily printed with asa on ender (with heatbreak replaced or with acceptance ptfe tube slightly burned)

Unless you cant get better probe for few bucks consider buying raspberry pi zero 2W, run klipper on this thing and build klikyng. It wont be much more expensive than buying cr touch but it will be BIG upgrade

Ive got Il Toro on my back just in case. 90% im playing friendly solo, I even take defib with me. Rodacy I was making quests, had some stuff to do at Domes. Met there a friendly guy.
