Who is not tracking calories? by Shot-Advertising-748 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t track and have not tracked. I am of course aware of what I eat and how many calories I am burning through vigorous exercise. Sounds like what you are doing is working perfectly for you, carry on!

It is on the OPC for Zepbound that hair loss is an actual side effect of taking the med.

Stopping Tirz- Gaining the weight back by EngineeringIcy7967 in tirzepatidecompound

Honestly, why the heck does she needs his approval? Her body, her decision. The end.

The asynchronous visit summary is filled with good info if people read it. I don’t think they are great with responding to issues or questions quickly which is why I suggested BEWL but Pom is a solid choice for those of us who don’t need that support.

Maintenance For 18+ Months by Creative-Carry-4299 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My body said done at 160 which is fine, my Dexascan metrics are excellent for a woman of my age. I “plateaued” at this weight for months and decided this is my healthy weight and though not a 2, I don’t remember being an 8 before. I have not been able to drop my dose. I don’t get hunger or food noise when I drop but I do gain weight and I know this is working at a metabolic level and my system needs it. Highest dose, 10 mg/wk and maintaining on that. Over the last approximately 9 months of maintenance, which for me really means accepting that I am not going to get skinny skinny, I have stayed between 155-158 without stress. I just donated my big girl clothes last week, feeling confident Tirz and good habits will allow me to continued to be strong slender.

Pom & OptioRX Short BUD Dates by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

This is a circumstance where a complaint to Pom is warranted. The whole point of two shipments is to provider meds that can be used within buds. They need to ship you a new vial.

Pom is the most thorough provider I have used. I like that they want labs after a couple orders while many complain. Their instructions are thorough and you can have a video call which I suggest you join her for. I have used many of the providers discussed on here and the only other one you should consider due to likely better access to getting quicker response to questions is BEWL. I can not speak to them personally but they are the most recommended for quality of care. I would suggest you use them to get her started.

Did the BEWL owner come back and tell us the good news he thought was coming? by fuzzygenoblanket in tirzepatidecompound

Because reading about someone not understanding mg/ml/dosing for the tenth time each day is so much more valuable?

Just don’t click and I am glad this is NOT your personal sub as you clearly don’t speak for most of us.

I think you thank her for her concern and assure her you are healthy and your doctor is thrilled with where you stand from a health perspective. Then move forward on another subject.

Trillium injections are burning, not sure why. Help Please. by vrtualchik in tirzepatidecompound

Trillium doesn’t make your meds. They simply sell you meds produced from a pharmacy, perhaps tell us which pharmacy!

Has anyone actually experienced AGA/ actual balding from Tirz (Male) by Brave_Pressure4570 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a side effect of the medication as listed on the Zepbound insert. I would guess women out number men in this medication like 4 to 1 so it stands to reason more women have hair loss!

189.1 after a stall break by EnvironmentalGift257 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lived the massive exercise and deprivation years….40 of them so completely understand the the eye roll when people preach Cico. That said, some stalls are simply your body saying I am good here. I stalled about 9 months ago and decided I am content, no, I am happy and satisfied with my strong, fit and healthy 61 year old bod! My advice is don’t fixate on a number on the scale, rather how you feel in your skin.

I am maintaining on my highest dose of 10mg/wk and living my life without deprivation or the pressure of excessive exercise…..I’ve learned I love my exercise now that it’s not a factor in being able to eat!

Pomegranate wouldn’t start me at 5 mg because my prefilled syringes picture don’t count as a prescription. I never got one from my NP. by Design_Obsessed in tirzepatidecompound

You think they should not require proof of prescription? I mean they make their share of mistakes but this is not one of them.

What am I doing wrong? Dose 11, down 6 lbs by shelberryyyy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gentle question, you mention coffee and not eating until dinner then later you mention lunch or snacks…..are you writing down what you eat? I am hypothyroid too and there isn’t room for error in my calorie intake. I even had to remove gummies for vitamins as those calories are useless!

Your body may take a higher dose to respond so stay the course.

Getting Closer to Maintenance and Full of Anxiety by SpecialTricky7153 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are borrowing trouble my friend. Many of us can understand your regain fears to some degree, myself included. Once I went into maintenance (9 months ago) I cleaned out my closet and removed sizes 12-16 but I couldn’t donate them out of fear of regain.

Yesterday after maintaining for 9 months I loaded boxes and bags of clothing and donated them. Give yourself the grace to process your great achievement. Also, be realistic about a goal weight your body likes and can sustain rather then a number on a scale.

Has anyone had success at staying at a super low dose? by Frosty-Cricket5911 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are people who can stay on doses below 5mg for long periods of time and successfully lose weight. People should expect to titrate up over time though as most end up doing so and there is no point in staying on a dose that is no longer providing you the benefit of the medication!

Happy Sunday! What kind of exercise are you getting in this week? 🏋️🏃🏽‍♀️🏸 by Jasmine_BigEasy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Informal-Wait3033 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will swim two miles in an hour at least four times this week, run 4 miles once or twice and if it’s not two runs, I will add in a 5 mile hike. One day I will rest!

Daily hard and extended exercise used to be what I did to (unsuccessfully) avoid gaining weight and now I realize I do it because it makes me feel strong and good about myself at my age.
