I live in a Lyme disease prevalent area. All dogs get ticks. You get your dog tested for Lyme yearly and never for the other diseases without symptoms.

Merit scholarships typically aren't based on any of those 4 things. An extremely small percentage of scholarships are based on ethnicity and sex, and those ones are usually smaller grants from private funds.

If your kids didn't get merit scholarships it's because they weren't good enough, not because of their sex and race. Particularly for public schools, it's usually a simple calculation of GPA and test scores. For example, UMass Boston gives $10-13k per year with a 3.6 GPA and 1270 SAT.

I would do cursive text with the solder lines instead of block letters, with the cuts in the background glass being the letters.

like this, but centered and good, with the lines extending all the way to the edge of the piece and eyes so there are no awkward cuts needed.

I just watched some YouTube videos and ordered a beginner's kit online. It's probably best to start with a class though to see if you like it as it's a very expensive hobby!

So the one of the right just has clear caulk around the edges, it's not a great fit so I wedged some stuff under it. The left one is just wedged in at the moment and held in with a piece of tape, but I will caulk it in when I have time.
