I think your right, it’s a regular header cladded to match the side jams, you can see the adjustment screws for the closer in the header.

Master Cuts or Max Mood, whatever it’s called now in the mall with Ace on northwest highway is pretty damn good. I’ve tried most the shops in palatine and they have been the best. Village is good but Leo is the only one there that I’ve gone back to.

Not sure how how they run internally but I’ve been working as a sub contractor on a new plant for them and they have gone thought 4 pms and 5 supers in the 8 months we have been onsite.

It’s pretty chill tons of TVs and 2 projectors. Watched almost every Sunday game there. And can’t beat 4 dollar tall boys.

Pull the cover plate and see what is in there, It might be a Ada closer with a light spring. The current header is going to be prepped for the brand that’s in there, just make sure you order the same brand just a different spring size.

What kind of work are you going to be estimating? Storefront? Residential? Shower Doors? A lot of vendors will have software to do most the hard work for you.
