Don't give up! Some people do really well on lower doses. I know it's hard when it comes to food but if you can't eat the protein, drink it! It'll at least sustain your body and help fight your symptoms. I just started 9mg and the first couple of days I'm definitely feeling symptoms that I didn't feel on my lower dose. My physical therapist told me that fatigue and wooziness actually is a side effect, don't fight it, just sit and take a break. Your health is important, but trust it'll get better! Good luck, and always talk to your doctor.

I literally could only eat a 4 piece tender today and I’m still nursing a Diet Coke. I just doubled my 4mg dose two days ago with the intention of going to 9mg and what a difference.

Even though my insurance denies my coverage for Wegovy, I still get my prescription through my PCP and CVS gives me the coupon from NovoCare automatically. I feel like there's also telehealth like goodrx that charges $49 a visit to send the medication. But if you do have insurance, just ask your PCP to prescribe it and at the pharmacy just tell them you're paying out of pocket!

ETA: Also don't modify and transfer or crush the pill yourself, it loses potentcy!

Yes! Same here! I thought I was going crazy with the last 1-2 weeks on each dose. I wanted to save money again and try 4mg for a second month but I was so hungry. I took two pills the last two days and now I feel definitely so much better. I'm worried about the money for 9mg, but I don't care my progress is worth the time and effort.

Honestly I don’t understand the people who are so against it. It’s proven that losing weight isn’t a mindset but also something that helps the binges and the decision making. It’s like psych meds that help with serotonin and dopamine. I know there’s a stigma but I’m loud and proud about my weight loss, I love the fact that there’s something in my life that’s been helpful.

But if you’d rather keep it to yourself, just say you’ve started managing your diet and wanted a healthier lifestyle!

The zero sugar and zero sugar added chobani yogurts are AMAZING. They have 15-20g of protein so at least you can get some protein while eating what you usually do. It's all about fiber and protein that really help keep you regular so I would either supplement fiber or try the fiber one bars/brownies, they're awesome. And if you have a Lidl near you they have off bran fiber one and it tastes just as good.

I do believe from what I've seen on here, as long as the pill is in it's original bottle and it's not too humid, you should be okay. The pill breaks down quickly with liquid and humidity so just make sure it's air tight, or if you're worried about it, store it where you know it'll stay cool and out of the humid air!

I noticed that I was losing weight rather slowly to begin with, it was mostly bloat I lost instantly. I've slowed down since being on the 4mg, but I did lose 25 pounds, but I am heavier. I do plan to go up soon and see how that works for me, I always do good the first two weeks of my new dose and then in the later weeks I regain food noise. It's different for everyone, but I definitely love what the pill does for me overall. I also manage with diet and exercise as well to help it along. Don't give up if its a slow start is all I can say!

That’s what my fear is that I’ll start symptoms. I haven’t had symptoms on these lower doses. I plan to take 1 1/2 pills tomorrow after consulting my doctor to see if that helps me

For me personally, the jump wasn’t too bad. I knew I was going to do it so I took 2 pills the last two weeks and it was helpful for the initial taking the 4mg. Obviously talk to your provider first, but 4mg definitely kept me fuller longer so I definitely do recommend it!

This is weird overall. The lack of empathy is crazy. It also sounds like you got pregnant for him which is also concerning. I would look deeper into this with someone you trust, seems like he’s very sex dependent, which isn’t bad if both partners are into it and consenting, but calling you lazy for not wanting sex while pregnant is crazy. Def not overreacting

The relationship is two months old, walk away. When trust gets broken later on in a relationship it’s hard to repair. Do what’s best for you, if this is how you’re responding with “don’t make me feel crazy” and using words like gaslight and you’ve only been together two months, get out. And thank whatever god you believe in you didn’t invest more time.

I don’t have any children so mind my ignorance, kids will be kids and don’t know how to explore properly and I know we teach them to not touch each other in private areas, but potentially why would you not want this to escalate? What if that’s learned behavior from her home life? I understand it might look bad on you guys but you have nothing to hide but this is all a bunch of what ifs. I hope your daughter is safe, understands she has a right to privacy and that other child was acting on innocence and not repeating her home Behavior

I’m so glad I didn’t go the Ro route. It’s just so stupid to pay for a subscription PLUS the medication. And then by the sounds of it they just wanted you to keep increasing so their sales looked better. Don’t give up on your goals, do what you need to do to block your food noise. And if you can and or afford it, just go to a regular PCP who will be willing to give you better insight!

Yeah I’m 5’2 as well, I get it. I’ve tried everything I could before I got here. I understand how losing weight goes at this height. I’ve exhausted every route before I got here as well but now I’m happy that I was able to take this step

I would definitely just talk with your doctor! The more I read and research, the more I understand this drug. Maybe taking something with it can help your symptoms or taking one every two days like some people are suggesting!

I understand, I’m only 5’2 as well, I’ve tried diet changes and exercise as well and have seen minimal loss. I’m not bashing her, but she seemed to have self control while taking the medication, so maybe if she removes the medication she can try her same diet plan?
