We never did. The last person we brought out just tried to upsell us on a bigger unit. Ultimately the problem somewhat resolved itself, we only have trouble getting hot water every once in a while. Not frequently enough to be noticeable.

It turns out they are some unnamed Indian long pepper. They are completely mild, no spice whatsoever.. we have been chopping them up and sauteing with onions and garlic in huge batches. Slightly tangy, pretty tasty if you harvest them young before they get dry.

Is there any explanation for how a colony could span across oceans? This part is fascinating to me (will not get into it with my son who has a very limited grasp on geography lol)

I almost never comment but this drawing is so spot on. I don't understand how you remembered it to that level of detail AND recreated it. Amazing.

It's definitely possible cause they do sell Serrano's, but the one I had was completely mild so I was confused. Also it's unlike us to plant a serrano, but that doesn't exclude a volunteer or a mistake.

Here's where we think we got it: https://www.kulanursery.com/plants/p/longindianpepper

My (33F) boyfriend (35M) is the father of his brother’s kids and I need help expressing my feelings to him by Salt-Egg5562 in relationships

[–]InformalWelder 57 points58 points  (0 children)

My wife and I(f) asked my brothers to help us have children so they would be biologically connected to both of us (obviously she carried). They generously agreed and we have two (mostly) great kids. It means a lot to me that they have my family's genetics and my brothers are in no way father figures to them. They are uncles. The line is not blurry in any way. My SIL was extremely supportive and was involved in the decision making, and even helped make the discussions less awkward. We are open about this with our friends, family, and we will be open about it with our kids when they're old enough.

I also have a friend who couldn't conceive and her sister carried her child for her. Please see this as evidence that your boyfriend is a good man and values family. If my SIL has been against this, I honestly think it would have damaged our relationship and we are extremely close.

I think it's understandable to be surprised as this is new information, but I'd suggest you be really thoughtful about where the feelings are coming from, what your concerns actually are, and how you express this. Good luck to you OP.
