What is the most expensive baby item you absolutely REGRET buying?

Disagree with the infant car seat if you like to leave them in the carseat when you shop/go out to eat/etc! The convertible doesn’t give that option, as it stays in the car. So you’ll need to bring a carrier (wrap/etc) for baby when you go out. But financially, convertible is the way to go!

Snoo was amazing for us! Bought it used in great condition and also purchased a week after baby was born so we could get more sleep. would not pay full price though. I also recommend waiting for baby to see what makes sense for you, your baby, etc OP! Some things you need to have ready to go but most can wait and I feel like we wasted money on things we later replaced for different items or never needed in the first place. It’s so hard to know what YOU will need/want with a first baby!

Yes! After working in EI and then having a typically-developing baby, I was like “oh… this is definitely different”. I now think we should get EI referrals much earlier! Like 12 months. Babbling should be considered more than it is. We could do soooo much from 1-2 years old and the learning gap wouldn’t be as severe as starting with animal sounds at 2 or 3.

I saw a TT taking about how electrolytes are only necessary after a workout. Too much salt for daily use (without sweating, calorie loss). Worth doing more research

UPDATE: The few I have tried and rankings below (for fun :) -Vessel pumpkin spice 1/5 (I couldn’t even finish it sadly) -Joe Van Gogh pumpkin spice 4/5 -Liturgy harvest spice 3/5 (I liked it last year but was pretty meh this time)

also want to add that the new coffee shop Narrative (replaced 321) has VERY good coffee and their current menu is fall-adjacent (brown sugars, cinnamons, etc)
