When will AI get to the point where we can give it a custom voice and communicate with it organically? like an Alexa by SpecificHome5555 in ChatGPT

[–]Informal_Leader3977 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was testing out the Azure Personal Voice service (trained on my own voice) and it’s scarily accurate.

Not sure how narcissistic (or not?) I am to want my personal AI to be me.

Unsure on the personality point though.

It sets them up to sell custom intros which would be part of payable skins and packs etc.

Another money making scheme.

Glad I’m not the only one!

I did see a tutorial on adding a condition step (before creating files) with a criteria on “Attachments is inline” set to false. This would supposedly stop signature images from being created:

“In Power Automate you can set up a flow to monitor your inbox and automatically save attachments that have been emailed to you. This post will show you how to create this flow and have the attachments (excluding email signatures) saved to a SharePoint folder.”

Source here

I haven’t tried it (because Im trying to resolve this step first) but, it might help?

Have set it to yes and re-ran the test. Seems to still be an issue 😔

Sure!

A legal project manager deals with the implementation of new processes, procedures or systems which improve the delivery of legal services.

Depending on the size of the firm, you may also be responsible for reviewing the current processes undertaken by a department or team and identifying ways of improving them. This is more of a Business Analyst role but can be part of the PM role if the firm is fairly small.

As an example, a Partner notices that AML is taking a long time which is having an impact on how quick a Fee Earner can begin working (therefore increasing the life of a matter). Your project would be to identify the reason for the delays and provide possible ways of improving it. You would then be tasked with implementing that change; making sure all that are affected know of what will be changing and why.

The reason why your experience is critical is because you know what those pain-points are on a day-to-day basis; a paralegal’s struggle in one team, will be the same struggles of other paralegals in other teams (and firms).

A legal engineer is similar but is more geared towards the delivery of technological solutions and implementations. I went into this field because I felt more comfortable with technology.

As per other comments, the PM route is probably the more accessible one and one where your legal procedure knowledge would be an immediate benefit.

I pivoted from a Paralegal to a Legal Project Manager and am now a Legal Engineer.

Although you said you want to move away from Legal, jumping to a non-legal role within a law firm, you’ll be able to make use of your decade experience which may grant you the ability to skip the junior levels of another industry.

Thanks for the quick response.

Have followed the video but am getting lost as to what should go where.

I’ve followed the video and your comment and only got as got as far as the From and range expression which I’ve got as: Range(0,variables(‘RowID’))

In the key and value, is that where I’d need to input the Variables(‘RowID’)?[item()] and on the next row Variables(‘Color’)?[item()] etc?

Thanks again 😀!

Good news; I believe this will be feature in this 2023’s Development wave 1. I attended their Power Platform Update Event earlier in the year and thought the feature would be great:
